Wife and I arrived at Temple around noon and told by staff that there was 3 hour wait in high temperature and humidity. I had my own camera but on arrival at temple found two sets of terraced seating crowded with people.
They were waiting for a staff member seated in a plastic chair in front of 'gate' to take their photos and had plastic bucket at his feet where people were placing payments for this.
Took my own photos of gate and moved on. Sadly area was full in 'influencers' who were getting photo for their profile and not living in the moment.
Temple was closed during our visit; we were told there was ceremony but Balinese government clamping down on tourists accessing temples as I found when visiting other sites.
Disappointing experience.

This was one of the best tours.
Kadek was an exceptional guide and took very nice pictures of us.
We enjoyed our full day and he made it the most out of each place we visited.

Great tour guide/driver!! Agung was a wonderful guide :) He was very friendly, informative and easy going. Extremely patient with how slow the process was at the Lempuyang Temple. He was informative and showed us extra sights and places that weren’t on the itinerary and were NOT tourist traps 😁 It ended up being a much longer day than we expected but being with him and the experiences he gave made it all worth it! Highly recommend this tour with Agung being your guide!

Gede was our guide and he was fantastic! He made sure we got the most out of each site we visited … he was attentive to our needs and was so willing to take as many pictures as we wanted. We enjoyed our day and he made the most of each spot we visited. He was helpful with suggestions to make each stop wonderful! We really appreciated his suggestion and it helped us get the most out of our day. He was knowledgeable and a wonderful guide.

The english speaking driver, Agung is so punctual. He will also clearly state your itinerary from the start so you would know what to expect.He can also be your tour guide as he shared some tips with regard to location/sceneries. He can help you out capturing your prescious moments by being a photographer as well (by request).
As for the tourist attractions, you can take your own time at Virgin Beach and T. Gangga, however in Lempuyang temple/gate of heaven is not possible as you have to wait in queue for 2 hours before you can have your own 'moments'.
Travel time is around 3 hours per way (it depends where you are staying) so make sure that you took your breakfast before leaving for a tour.
Overall experience was fantastic as the visit itself is not dragging and we are able to capture the targeted scene.
Value for money is not quite good if you're on a budget as you can also DIY by renting a car as this includes the driver already. You can design your own travel itinerary as well.

The photos we took home were stunning but we didn’t realize it was just a mirror that gave the effect of the temple. We left our hotel at 5am to “beat the rush” of people but it was so busy we still had to queue for hours just to take a photo. What was most disappointing was the driver / guide barely spoke the whole trip. He seemed quite lazy and was sleeping while we waited but had nothing to say about the location , history, I wouldn’t consider this a guided tour. We could have just taken our ticket in the queue and went off and visited another location in those hours lost. I felt bad leaving the review as I know the pandemic was hard on the locals and the tourism industry but the driving was also very dangerous and poor (I’ve lived all across Asia so not new to this) and wouldn’t recommend.

it was fun! I think this trip covers all the essentials in the eastern part of Bali. We wanted something relaxing and peaceful and this was what we were looking for. The driver Desu was very kind and attentive to us and we really enjoyed the beautiful white sand beach at the end of the trip.

We stayed in Kuta at 8am, First stop was the Virgin beach very beautiful, gold and black sand, you can just walk across or pay to sit on sun lounge, bony cost much, then off to what was called waterfall, but was more a water garden, don’t let this stop you it was amazing and the largest koi I have ever seen. We then stopped off and feed the monkeys, not part of the trip but our driver was really good, you can buy some bananas for them that was cool. Then off the Heavens gate, really amazing, however be warned, the queues are massive to have your photo taken (however these other great photo opportunities without having stand waiting), so recommend if set on having your photo taken leave at 3am and miss all those photo worshippers. Overall amazing day driver great, but long drive.
