Immerse yourself in a private pasta-making class at a local's home, learn the secrets of the region's most famous pasta dishes and taste the fruit of your labour accompanied by a glass of local wine.
During the lesson, the local home cook will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic regional pasta recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Each participant will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines.

We were paired up with Angela for our pasta making. She welcomed us into her lovely home and spent the morning teaching us how to make 2 types of pasta along with some Bruschetta. I had contacted her before to indicate some food preferences we had and she accommodated those preferences well. After making the pasta we cooked it all and had a delicious lunch. Both of my teens who did the tour with us really enjoyed it and loved the food. They can’t wait to try it sometime when we get back home.

Angela, along with her son welcome us into her home and we made and tried three different pastas. I would highly recommend her for her graciousness and her knowledge of her craft.

Our hostess, Antonella was absolutely wonderful.
We made appetizers and 3 different pastas and she surprised us a dessert.

My friend and I had the pleasure of going to Angela V’s home to learn her grandmother’s pasta recipes. There were another three people that joined our class from the UK. We laughed and had so much fun. Angela was welcoming, knowledgeable and hospitable in her home. She was funny, gave exceptional service, and the meal was fabulous!!! We were so honored to spend this Time in Catania and leave with this memory. I highly recommend!

Francesca was a delightful host. An experienced professional chef, and so kind to bring us to her home. You can tell she has all the knowledge… never looking at a single recipe. Tiramisu was amazing, the gnocchi with cheese cream sauce
💥💥, the ravioli with ham cheese and prepared Sicilian garlic sauce. And more.
Even home made gelato to greet us. It was Fantastic experience.

An absolute pleasure cooking with the Italian couple! Although there was a language barrier, we somehow managed to make conversation by simply cooking amazing Italian cuisine. All the while making you feel like you’re spending time with family. Highly recommend to try, especially if you want to be fed good food until you can’t anymore
P.S. they have an amazing view overseeing the city with Mt Etna behind. Breathtaking!

I had a lovely day with Francesca and her husband Armando. We made three types of pasta as advertised but she also showed me how to make focaccia and gave me some traditional Sicilian breakfast before we cooked. I learned a lot, not only about cooking but about life in Sicily. This was my favorite activity I did all trip.

We visited over a cup of coffee first then After some instructions we made 3 beautiful pasta dishes in the private beautiful home.
We ate dinner in her amazing dining room. I can’t wait to make when I get home !!
