My heart is so full after this experience my husband and I shared with Antonia. She is a beautiful soul inside and out. It honestly felt like we were visiting with family. Antonia shared a family recipe with us that was TO DIE FOR. It was an eggplant dish (mind you, my husband and I don’t really like eggplant) and we cannot to remake this recipe when we get home. Antonia share photos of her family with us, let us enjoy some of her husbands’ myrtle wine for her grandmothers’ small sipping glasses, and spoiled us with dessert and coffee. This experience couldn’t have been more perfect! Even though the market was closed the day we were there, we acquired what we needed from other shops. If you enjoy cooking like we do, this is such a treat!
Wish we could have Antonia teach use more recipes! My husband and I really enjoyed this part of our honeymoon.
