Carlos and Alise were amazing! The trip was wonderfull and the hike just perfect, easy with some short break. Then we visited the Basilica in the monastry and we had some free time to go around. I visited also the museum in the free time which I recomend (including Picasso, Dali..). And we get a free huge sugar bread at the end!

Great guides, perfect tour! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to see Montserrat. Hike was downhill, not difficult at all. Pastry afterwards super tasty. One of our favorite Barcelona memories!

We had a little bit of a bumpy start with our guide called in sick, but all turned out fine and it was a great experience. They sent Katia within 30 min and we ended up losing pretty much no time on our trip. Katia was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable and engaging. She even had all the kids on the trip do some quick play acting to describe the story of St. George. Our kids, 11 and 9, loved the experience. Hiking was a little steep (you go downhill nearly all the way), but was very manageable.

We went of early to wait for our guide at the designated spot in Barcelona... Got a bit hot under the collar when no one turned up!! At last someone came to explain our guide phoned in 'sick' just before our departure ... but someone is on the way, then Katia turned up!!

If ever someone saved the day it was Katia... She was not only super knowledgeable, but also fun and had a funky spirit that made the day super awesome. Katia, not only a million thanks for making this such a memorable trip, but also, you were amazing good at your job!! And thanks for hopping out of bed so early on Sunday to rescue us!!

Katia was WONDERFUL! So knowledgeable and friendly. It was a cloudy day when we first arrived at the mountain so views were limited but it cleared up during the second half and it was stunning. Not a difficult hike, took the funicular up and walked down. Our 9 and 12 yo girls didn’t have a problem at all!

Katia was an amazing guide! She shared so many interesting facts and tips for our day trip and made the tour so enjoyable! The views were beautiful, the hike was about an hour and mostly at a steep decline. The church was beautiful! Great day!

Bosco is a fun knowledgeable guide for our hike and tour of Montserrat. Did the morning hike in late June and is wasn’t too hot. The Coca de Montserrat pastry was extremely tasty too.
Worth the bus drive out of Barcelona.

Tour guides were funny and knowledgeable! The bus ride was super enjoyable even and touring around Monserrat was incredible. If you’re looking for a longer hike, I would suggest a day-long instead of a half-day but still got plenty of steps in! I went into the cathedral and the museum during our free hour and enjoyed both. Definitely recommend!
