This is an unique activity where you will see sunrise from top of Mount Batur 1718 m, the view is really amazing ,you can see mt Agung and mt Abang also you can see black larva lying down from mt Batur and beautiful of Lake Batur..

This morning we arrived at 3am to start our hike up Mount Batur to watch the sunrise. We met our friendly leaders Wayan and Setiti at base camp. We were offered tea/coffee, biscuits and waters before proceeding to receive our head torches and walking sticks. It was pitch dark at 3:30am when we began our trek.
The terrain was tough but our guides were very well experienced. Once reaching the top after a few stops along the way, we were ushered to our seats. Blankets and refreshments are available for purchase at the top so don’t forget your money. Also if you don’t feel you can make it down you can hire a motorbike to take you back to base. It is very cold at the top so do wear layers. Wayan and Setiti were very accommodating taking videos and photos. The sunrise is breathtaking along with the views. I highly recommend this for anyone considering.

Wonderful experience and sunrise, we were extremely lucky to have a dry and clear day.
Our guide Agit was outstanding, very knowledgable, with a great sense of humour. He took excellent photos and videos….. I can not thank him enough. Highly recommended. Thank you Agit for making it so special!

Myself and 2 friends did the Sunrise trek and it was amazing! Agit was our guide for the morning and he was the best!!
Everything was great from the company. We booked the night before through WhatsApp which was very easy, we were told to choose between a group tour and private. There wasn’t much in the price so we opted for the private tour which was just more convenient it meant we got picked up and brought straight there rather that doing hotel pick ups and it also meant we could climb up mount Batur at our own pace. Our driver was 10 minutes early and sent a message to let us know he was here when we are ready, a very comfortable drive and a nice man. We got to the meet point where we met Agit and he gave us our head torch and actually offered to carry my friends water bottle. He checked in with us throughout and told us we could stop when we we wanted, which we did, a lot and he was more than happy told us to take our time. He kept explaining how long we had from each check point and explaining how long we had until sunrise and told us we could make it. Agit was full of encouragement and gave me the motivation I needed to reach the top! He took lots of lovely photos of us and nothing was ever too much of an ask.

What a day! Was picked up on time at 2:30am by our driver and taken to the drop off point, where we met Agit who honestly made this experience so much better with his great personality and sense of humour. Was very patient as it was our first mountain hike and Agit definitely made the trek easier for us, he had excellent knowledge on the volcano and its history which was pretty cool to learn about also, would 100% recommend. Thankyou!

I went with my friends todo the tour with the súper guide Agit. We enjoyed a lot the excursión. He also showed us specials spots during the trek. I totally recommend it!

It's our first time in Bali so we weren't sure what to expect but the Bali Sunrise staff were very helpful in planning our day and helping out. Our morning started early from Nusa Dua with pickup (shout-out to our great driver Dewa who was with us all day!) and a ride to Mount Batur. Upon arrival we were given coffee & tea as a final energy boost before the hike.
The hike was challenging but very worth it. Our hiking guide Ika was awesome in helping us take photos and giving moral support when we needed to rest from the uphill hike. We arrived at the top at roughly 530 and got a great seat to watch the sunrise. The breakfast (with more coffee/tea) we got was a delicious reward to surviving the hike. Exploring the volcano with the steam vents was also very cool!
Our tour also included a stop at a coffee plantation where we got to try the famous poop coffee (luwak coffee) which was better than the name sounds! We also got some nice views and photos on a swing there as well.
Overall we couldn't be happier with how the day turned out. It was so nice to not have to worry about the logistics and the day planned by Bali Sunrise Tours and executed by Dewa and Ika was awesome! The day was so great we decided to also book a snorkeling tour with them (writing this review in the car enroute)!

For this tour we chose the private route with guide (no group) as we went a lot into the mountains and wanted to avoid getting stuck in lines of people and a thousand stops. We left from Ubud, and it all started early in the night as the driver was punctual outside the hotel at 2.00. An hour and a half by car and we were at the base camp at the foot of Batur, where we were offered hot tea, coffee and biscuits. Once ready we were introduced to our guide, PUSPITA, and off we went.
She immediately proved to be a very smart girl, very attentive to our needs and excellent company.
The trek in total lasts about 1 hour and a half (simple, but if you are not familiar with mountain routes, be prepared to make a bit of effort as the difference in altitude reaches 35/40% in many sections).
Along the way it is inevitable to meet groups of people doing the same activity and it is very difficult to overtake as the paths are quite narrow, so despite the private tour you will have to wait for them to stop to let you pass.
Once we reached the top, waiting for sunrise, PUSPITA prepared and brought us breakfast, a fairy tale!
The view is priceless, and even if you have worked hard it will repay all your efforts!
Once the sun has fully come out, we continue with a small tour of the highest peak, where there are some holes with very hot volcanic vapors escaping, fascinating!! Just enough time to take two photos and you can go down towards the valley: here the private tour makes the difference!
We love running in the mountains, so the descent was very quick, but I assure you that the groups were very, very slow, so evaluate your ability to descend and, if going down very slowly is also pressing for you, choose the private tour without thinking.
Once you get back to the camp, you can have a snack again, and then set off towards your destination, making a stop at a local coffee and tea plantation if you are interested.
In our case, by paying a little extra and asking in advance, they took us to a completely different place than the pick-up hotel, so you can leave from one destination and then reach another, but ask in advance!
Another mention to PUSPITA, a truly splendid girl, very attentive to all our requests and very proactive and thoughtful. A thousand thanks!!!!

My daughter and I decided to do the Mt Batur Sunrise Trek and other sightseeing privately and it was fantastic. Doing it privately enabled us to see what we wanted to (ie. we chose to do the Sunrise Trek, Tibumana Waterfall and the Giant Swing). Yes, it's an early start but definitely worth doing. We also had a wonderful day due to 2 people: our driver Budi and our trekking guide, Reke. They were both very knowledgable (being locals), their english was perfect and they went above and beyond in their jobs and in helping us. Thanks for a very special day :)
