Carlo was a great tour guide - he was on time and where he said he would be for pick up, and returned us to the ship on time. He got us up close to many sites and then we walked a short distance to see them with as much time as we wanted. We loved the private tour as we could adjust to whatever we wanted to see - we got to see everything on our list. The only negative thing about the whole day was that he recommended a place for lunch and dropped us off, but the lunch took longer than we would have liked and the food wasn't very good. But other than that, Carlo was funny, spoke pretty good English, and gave us a fantastic day in Rome!!

Good for basic sightseeing. Mitigating expectations for Rome in June… you get a few great stops of major landmarks but no time for entry due to crowds.
Paulo, the driver, had mad skills and was extremely kind and accommodating. Rome on a Wednesday in June is crowded and lines for entry unbearably long. If the expectation is to hop off and pop into venues, lower expectations. You are hopping off and taking photos in front and getting back in the van. And beyond the control of the tour some attractions are under construction and inaccessible. Historical Explanations are pre-recorded.

Seeing the significant structures, Colosseum, piszzas, the Vatican, the Spanish steps, the 3 Fountains ( too many people when we were there) etc and eating regular but extremely delicious Italian lunch !!

The driver focused on all the major highlights and also showed us other things. He was very knowledgeable and was able to speak English very well.

We were able to see a lot of sights. The trip was very rushed. We did not have any description of either the locations. Our driver hardly knew any English. It was hard to communicate with him. He was a very safe driver. He knew a lot of short cuts on the streets.

Unfortunately Vatican was closed and I asked before booking if I get tickets to the Museum and I was promised yes but the Driver did not have tickets. Are we getting refund? We did not really get a close up look at the other monuments. It felt like a very rushed tour. It was nice that he dropped us on and off but I would not recommend this tour. Please refund us for the tickets to the museum as we did not get it nor used it. Thank you.

Another great excursion, our group was separated but the drivers made sure to stay together so that we could experience Rome together. Great service
