Eriberto was great! We did the hike and he was great at answering all questions we had. It rained the entire hike but it was still a blast. The waterfall was beautiful and so was the hike there! We then had lunch which was a classic Dominican dish of rice , chicken, tostones, and salad. Would recommend!

Our guide Manuel was absolutely incredible and helpful. it was muddy and slippery and he held my hand most of the trip to the waterfall and back. The lunch was terrific also after we returned from our hike and much needed. Warning you must be in good physical shape to perform this treacherous hike and the walk back up the 200 plus steps from the waterfall. Had it not been for our guide Manuel.... i would not have made it.

We were staying in Las Terrenas and it didn’t make sense to drive to Samana. After a few calls we were able to connect with tour operator and arranged to meet at El
Limón. We arrived a little late, but they were accommodating and had two horses ready. Road to El Salto is challenging; it had rained the night before and it was muddy and slippery. But the horse guides looked after us and kept us safe. Lunch was plentiful and delicious.

Please BE GENEROUS with horse guides; they do the hard work, keep you safe and survive on tips!!

MUDD IS EVERYWHERE! BE MINDFUL ABOOUT WHAT TO WEAR. SHOES MUST HAVE A GOOD GRIP.

It’s all beautiful and so worth the efforts.

We rode ATVs from Las Terranas to El Limon, wow! Franco was our guide, recommended by our hotel, and was excellent. Hooked us up with horses and guides (6 of us), rugged ride to top of mountain overlooking Salto El Limon, walk down to base waterfall and back up to main fall. Wear good shoes, intense hike. Lunch provided after wards was delish!
