Herculaneum Private Walking Tour

We had an excellent experience, from arriving at the central train station in Napoli until the end of our tour of the archeological museum and exploration of old Napoli. Communications for setting up the tour were great, and we were met by our skillful driver Fabio and our very knowledgeable and personable guide Francesca. Herculaneum was an experience that should not be missed. Couldn't ask for a better day.

My Roman Wife and I had what can be described as a flawless A to Z (info gathering, booking, pick up, informed tour and drop off) tour of Herculaneum from Naples.

Pompeii is the Big Sister without a doubt, but our tour of Herculaneum was so very very interesting and provided a lot of knowledge especially in light of the fact that Herculaneum is much less reported. Herculaneum is no poor sister

We were so very fortunate in our bilingual guide Giuseppe. Besides being a very nice person, he is very knowledgeable of both Pompeii and Herculaneum and able to contrast similarities and differences between the two. We found Giuseppe very informed, very diligent and with a good strategy to see all of the primary and secondary sites in way to optimize the experience by not getting caught up in the viewing traffic crowds. The respect the other Park workers and other guides showed him demonstrate his pleasant nature.

A special shout out and thanks to Giuseppe for the great tour and Vincenzo for an excellent process.

Having been to Herculaneum 13 years ago with no guide, this was a terrific way to see and learn about all the newer discoveries and gain more in depth understanding of what we were seeing. Fabrizio was a terrific guide. We highly recommend this personally guided tour for anyone interested in really learning and understanding more about Herculaneum.

Tour operator worked with me to remedy a computer error in booking. Helped arrange a driver and guide with minimal lead time. Guide was very courteous and professional. In-depth knowledge of the local history was very evident during the tour.

Fabrizio is one of the very best guides we have encountered in our EU travels. His educational background encompasses art history and archeology, but he uses his knowledge to help you understand and appreciate your experience, as opposed to simply beating you over the head with fact after fact. We had a terrific time and we would not hesitate to contact him again on our next trip.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all our questions and took time to late us really take everything in. I have no idea how to spell her name I'm pretty sure is started w/an F but I'm not even going to try and butcher it. She was a wonderful guide and I highly recommend this tour. It was at the end of their heavy tour season so it wasn't very crowded and we really got to take our time without being packed in like a bunch of sardines!
