I had a great time on this food tour with Nada! She took me to restaurants I wouldn't have visited otherwise. It was a great experience to try all kinds of food in local, family-owned places. Like others have said in their reviews, there were no other tourists around. On top of that, Nada was very professional. Make sure to arrive to this tour with an empty stomach, because you will eat a lot!

Nada was a fantastic tour guide. I traveled to Egypt with my wife and 2 daughters. Nada, being female, immediately made them feel very comfortable. Nada was knowledgeable with only only the food culture but also historical sites and history in Egypt. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with her. Out of all the tour guides that we had in Egypt, Nada was the best.

The tour through the old quarter offers a great overview of the truly typical dishes of simple Egyptian cuisine. The koshary was definitely the best I ate in Cairo. There was also a fantastic milk pudding and the best fried shrimp, but those were just my personal highlights. There is definitely something for everyone.

Had an amazing experience on this tour, our guide Loay was extremely knowledgeable and made us try many amazing dishes, snacks and drinks that were completely new to us. We walked in an area that was not touristy and could really experience the local atmosphere, the warmth and the friendliness of the Egyptians. Would 100% recommend doing this tour on the 1st day your are in town.

Nada was an exceptional guide during our tour, taking us to off-the-beaten-path local spots where we didn't encounter any other tourists. She was kind, attentive, and spoke excellent English. The highlight of the tour was enjoying Turkish coffee with cardamom at a traditional cafe owned by a friendly man. This experience truly immersed us in the local culture and left us with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend booking a tour with Nada for an authentic and unique experience.

Nada was amazing! She took us to local markets and tried authentic Egyptian foods that we would had no access to otherwise. She is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. It’s the highlight of our entire trip. Highly recommend. Please do prepare to arrive early as the traffic in Cairo is super unpredictable

We had a great time exploring the streets of Cairo with Nada. She was super nice, had great knowledge and took good care of us. We visited loads of places we wouldn't have even found (never mind tried) without being part of this tour. The 4 hours went by very quick and we sampled all sorts of food and drinks. Enjoyed all of it, but shrimps were a highlight. Thanks again!

Nada was our guide in this great tour. We went to very local places where we did not meet other tourists. She was kind and attentive, and had a very good English. The Turkish coffee with cardamom we had in a traditional cafe owned by a very nice men was a must!

Our tour with Loay was outstanding. He spoke excellent English and was a treasure trove of information about the area of old Cairo, its food and culture. We loved the food and meeting the people who made it. A great evening and enough food for a week! Thank you Loay.
