This tour was the highlight of our trip to Bali.
Our guide, Ras, was brilliant. He shared so much knowledge about local Balinese food, the history of Denpasar and broader Balinese culture. Generous with his stories and humour, we couldn't have asked for a better guide for our stroll around Denpasar.
And the food was insanely good. A fantastic mix of styles that were perfectly spaced out over the four hours. The big finish at the night market was incredible. An electric atmosphere with no other tourists to be seen - this is the Bali I really wanted to experience.
Would recommend this tour in a heartbeat!

Rays was a fantastic guide. Very informative and funny. The food was delicious and there was so much!
Definitely do not eat lunch before you go.
We ate from places we never would have on our own and tried dishes we would not have normally chosen and it was all DELICIOUS!!
We would definitely recommend this tour.

Food is inextricably linked to culture and this tour offers a unique insight into Bali that few tourists see. I was extremely grateful that my tour went ahead even though I was the only person booked for this day. My guide took me to some amazing food experiences and explained the background to each dish. These are food places only a local knows about. Really enjoyed this tour.

Ras was such a great tour guide and took me to some fantastic spots. Whenever I travel I like a balance of tourism luxury with local culture and I felt I got to experience some of that on this food tour. I was impressed by Ras's knowledge of not only food but the history of the locations wee were travelling through. I highly recommend leaving room in your stomach for this tour as I was expected to finish a whole chicken (I couldn't) but great experience. Not everything was to my personal taste but definitely a reflection of my palate and not the tour.

We were lucky enough to have the guide to ourselves - 2 of us. The guide was fantastic, the food was very varied and all good quality: from a mix of street vendors & restaurants. The guide was also very knowledgable and engaging on non-food topics like Denpasar and culture of Bali. A bonus was to be lead through the flower market & food market - amazing experience. highly recommended... just go with an empty stomach.

Wonderful tour with great food and history of the area. We had time before our late night flight and it was the perfect was to spend the afternoon/evening. Loved ending at the local market! Ras was a great host!

The variety of food l sampled and the quantity of the serves was amazing. It was a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and try a few different traditional food and beverage items that l would normally not order. Everything l tasted was great and my guide was very informative and friendly. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable on this tour. The walking was very casual and easy even though we covered a fair area.

I had a wonderful time tasting Balinese cuisine! My guide Raysid was very knowledgeable about local customs and culture, so the tour was both a food and local exploration experience. All the food choices tasted amazing and gave a broad overview of both local and national specialities. Also loved exploring the streets and market with its many fruits and desserts. Raysid was an excellent guide who made the experience fun and informative.
Highly recommend this tour as a great way to explore Bali's many nuances!
