This walking tour is designed to give you a broad understanding of Edinburgh, it's history and culture. The tour runs for around two hours taking in many of the sites of the Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We strive to be informative yet entertaining on this tour, delivering an overview of Edinburgh with the passion it deserves.

We really enjoyed the walking history tour of Old Town and Tales in Edinburgh. Max was knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour to others. We now feel we have a better knowledge of the history of Old Town Edinburgh.

Georgia was our tour guide and she was amazing. The tour starts at a coffee shop which had a bathroom luckily. The coffee and pastries there were delicious as well. She stopped at a lot of major spots in the city and pointed out where to shop and eat. Highly recommend

Fantastic walking tour with English Ben! Such a good way to learn about Edinburgh’s importance to Scottish and indeed global history. Ben is really knowledgeable and delivered the tour in a totally friendly and humorous way . A great experience and intro to this great city!

What a great way to get yourself introduced and oriented to Edinburgh. I took this two hour tour on my first day in Edinburgh with “English” Ben. I learned so much interesting history and fun stories about Edinburgh. We were taken back 500 years and got a great insight into the changes that unrolled over the years. Certainly also heard a few high tales. Ben is charming and clearly lives what he’s doing. Highly recommend. I’m doing another of their tours
