Pisa is one of the top destinations in Tuscany and is very close to Livorno but reaching the tower by public transport can be troublesome, it can take a lot of time than expected and be careful which train you take because it can be even more expensive than you imagine!

It was fine. Not great, not terrible. Do not book if you are impatient or in a hurry. Tour operators were young and didn’t speak very good English but we were able to make that work. Operator couldn’t find our tickets, even though I had my voucher, but rebooked for us. The bus was very late which made us late for our Pisa tower climb. We made it with 2 minutes to spare. Take a photo of the bus you came on for easy finding when you get back from Tower.
Tips for the Tower—you cannot bring a purse or backpack in.
There are pushy vendors everywhere which was surprising for a global landmark like the Tower. They hound you from the minute you get off the bus until you are able to get back on the bus.

Easy, comfortable, affordable, convenient round trip coach ride from Livorno to Pisa. I only had 1 day in Livorno and I wanted to go to Pisa. Was planning on taking the train but they were on strike the day I was there. So glad I found this option. East to find the green shirts at the morning meeting location. Comfortable A/C coach ride about 30-40 mins. Upon arrival, Easy well sign posted 15-20 min walk from bus drop off to Leaning Tower. Lots to see- you only have about 2 hrs in the area so plan your time accordingly. I didn’t buy tickets to enter any of the buildings, I was happy to just walk around and take pictures and people watch. Easy finding the way back to the bus. Just follow the hordes of tourists streaming back…:Highly recommend

Excellent! Organized, smooth experience. Very easy to find the tour, perfect amount of time in the town to see the tower, get some pictures, and eat some pizza.

Viator was just a very comfortable coach ride to Pisa however the price was very good. Half day here is plenty however we did enjoy ourselves

The meeting place was busy but there were at least 3 teenagers there, easy to find in Green T-shirts. We had ample time to walk to the top of the leaning tower and self tour the adjacent Basilica. Comfortable air conditioned coach bus for transportation. They won't let you walk yourself out of the port from a cruise ship. You must take the provided shuttle coach bus which was a 1/2 lineup to board. The shuttle took us straight to the meeting place for the tower of Pisa excursion.

I booked the wrong tour. Supposed from Livorno to Pisa but my cruise ship was actually at La Spazia. The tour there found out and was able to transfer me to the tour from Lula Spaxia to Florence and Pisa. Worked out fine. The tour guide Marina, was phenomenal. She took very good care of us, explained the history and features of the locations well. Highly recommend her!!

The service was great. The staff had great communication prior to attending the excursion. They explained exactly what we had to do in order to meet with them. The bus was very clean had Great air conditioning. They also provided Wi-Fi. Once we arrived in Pisa, they left us in a great location to walk and sightsee.
