The bus tour met our expectations, the trip covered the main sites although there was some walking required once dropped off. Buses were every 15 to minutes and were not overly full. Commentary on the bus was good and we had no problems with the headphones.

We did a tour with Karina. She is amazing and very transparent. Would highly recommend her to take you around Rome. She was recommended to us from friend in Australia.

Have used hop on hop off in several cities before Rome. Disappointed with Rome as stops not well marked and difficult to navigate to a stop to get started. We pre bought out passes, but once there difficult to find stop to start with and when we located huts and people selling passes no one would assist us to a stop. Would assist if we would rebuy new tickets. Finally able to get assistance from local police. Many of the translation ports for headphones not in working condition as well.

The destination is memorable, but the bus is so far away from everything, you still walk a lot to get to the highlighted drop-off locations. Better off probably using the metro or local bus. Narration was AI, did not pronounce the locations correctly and not a normal flow of communication, sounded strange.

Booked this as part of a vacation package. We had a voucher for 48 hours hop on- hop off. Sometime during the day we lost our paper tickets. We looked everywhere and could not find them. Luckily we had our voucher on our vacation app. We met with Mash (one of the workers there for the bus company. He was able to solve our problem and get us back on the bus for our two days!
The buses are clean and on time and have good and helpful staff. Recommend.

This hop on hop off bus trip is great, you can see all the sites with plenty of time. The commentary is good. For us, it was a very hot day and the bus was very busy and the traffic was at a standstill, but if you’re with family or friends you can pass the time. A great way to get around.

Memorable the complete fiasco with issuing the tickets which took 25 minutes. We could hardly understand the guide who spoke at speed. The mention of gladiators was minimal despite being the gladiator

As Rome is so busy it is the best way to get around and work out where you want to spend your time. Takes you round most of the sites and you can buy a tickets for more than one day.

This was not a great experience for my family. We purchased the 24 hour pass and thought we would make use of the ticket late on our Sunday arrival. The tour window was ending for the day (which we did not understand) and buses did not come around frequently enough. Crowds were too much and the tour information only came from a plug in headset. We did not return to the bus after our solo trip. Find a good walking tour podcast or audio download and you can see and learn more than this bus offers. But if you don’t want to walk, this is a decent method of transportation.
