Great guide very informative. At Sintra we stopped frequently to allow whole group to stay together. The short hike of around 500m climb was very steep to walk up to the palace through the hillside gardens Not an easy walk with mobility issues. Trip into Sintra was lovely town has good options for lunch and some nice shops. The journey visiting the coastline and most western point light house had stunning views. Overall a really good value for money trip. Be prepared for a long day in heat (July) but worth every second.

The whole trip was absolutely amazing. Orianna (our guide for the day) was very informative and really knew her stuff. Although she was conveying vast amounts of information she still managed to make it fun. Even for the young children within the group.

Sergio is a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable on a the area . I would have liked a little more time in Sintra as restaurant service is slow and only had a few minutes to shop. But I highly recommend this tour. Also check weather apps before going as weather was cold and rainy , but in Lisbon it was hot and sunny.

We had a wonderful day trip today with our group, guided by Sergio. He was absolutely wonderful! He was knowledgeable, eloquent, kind, and very understanding. We went slowly up to the palace and he gave us lots of leisure time to explore on our own. He gave recommendations for food as well. Our group was in high spirits and respected the schedule. Pick up was easy and the van was well air conditioned. It was all around such a great day well spent and it is a must-do if you are staying in Lisbon and looking to venture out. A word of caution for those who easily get vertigo or car sickness: the roads on the way to Sintra and toward Cascais are narrow and very bendy. It can also be bumpy in the car and there may be lots of braking given the high congestion from traffic. Bringing anti nausea medication or a betahistine if you have vertigo is recommended just to be safe!

Absolutely wonderful trip! Tiago was our guide and he was amazing. His historical knowledge of Sintra and engagement of our children was amazing. My kids (ages 9-15) were totally engaged and had a great time on the tour. Long day but worth every moment. We found it easier with the family to have a guide and skip the line type services. Also if we booked on our own it would have been a very long day with too many bus stops and we would not have made the trip to Cascais which was worth the hour visit.
