We will meet you at your accommodation with warm greeting, put on helmet, instruct you on safety notice and start our adventure:
1. LOCAL WET MARKET: walk around the market to see how people sell and buy their groceries and fresh ingredients for their meals.
2. OLD APARTMENT AREA: we will walk deep to the alleys and places that people live and make money for their life.
3. TEN THOUSAND BUDDHAS PAGODA: then will visit a great designed pagoda by dragons and ten thousand Buddha.
4. MONUMENT OF THE MONK WHO BURNED HIMSELF TO DEATH: The story of a hero
5. LOCAL LIFE THROUGH THE BACK ALLEYS

After warm greeting with our friendly guide, we will put on your helmet. then start the adventure. Our first stop is at a hero monument – the monk Thich Quang Duc who burnt himself during the Vietnam War. You will learn more about the history of the city and the very hard time of the local people during the war. Next is the time to explore the local life, you may be the only tourists there. We will walk together through Old Apartment Area – beautiful old part of the town and the colorful wholesale Flower Market, get refreshed with local sugarcane juice or a fresh coconut. Your guide will explain for you about local life and how people lives, has fun and makes a living. Continue your adventure by motorbike through the back alley of Saigon through District 10, 5 and 4, see and learn more about local life through the slum area, and wet markets. We next go to visit District 5, a part of the china town. on our motorbike you will see the markets and local life of a strong community and neighborhood connection. After stopping at a pagoda, You will be amazed when you see the most beautiful Buddha pagoda in town with ten thousand Buddha statues and beautiful detailed design. The last stop is at a local coffee shop, the guide will introduce you the art to make the best coffee in the world – Vietnamese coffee. You will enjoy the best Vietnamese coffee while getting to know more about each other, our life as local university students and yours. Het allerleukste wat ik in Ho Chi Minh gedaan heb!
Phi was een super leuke vriendelijke tour gids, die mij een veilig gevoel gaf op de scooter. Het maakt het extra leuk dat het jonge enthousiaste studenten zijn.
Op plekken geweest waar je als toerist nooit zal komen. Het gevoel dat je echt even lokaal bent geweest in deze stad is een super ervaring. Daarnaast had ik het toch geüpgraded met eten erbij, en wat ben ik hier verwend met heerlijke gerechten zeg! Voor geen goud willen missen :)

We had an amazing time on the tour! Our guides Phi and Son were so sweet and friendly. They knew lots about history, food and culture in general and were able to share lots about their lives with us. They have excellent communication skills. They also drive very safely!!! I would highly recommend this tour. It’s fun to go around town on the bike and interact with the students.

I’d been in HCMC less than 24hrs before going on this street food tour with Son. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the city & I learnt so much in one afternoon before we even start talking about the food. It was like a moving degustation, I started to lose count of how many dishes we had, all best in class. One dish though, a dry pork noodle with broth was the best thing I’ve tasted in ages, that place deserves a Michelin star. Very fun, delicious time.

My tour guide on this hidden gems tour of the city was Son, a business student in Ho Chi Minh City. He was full of information and kept me entertained all morning. He was easy to talk to and flexible with his plans, adapting the tour to include things I hadn’t seen and avoiding others I’d already done. We walked through a number of local markets and back alleys, toured temples and historical sights, had coffee together, and even walked around the oldest apartment building in the city. Definitely worth the money and time to get such an intimate tour of Saigon. Son is amazing!

Tom, Son and Giang were great tour guides. They brought us to all the local spots and not just eating but some sightseeing areas.

I definitely would not have found these places on my own. It was great to eat such a variety.

Scootering around HCMC was also fun and quite the experience!

Son and Panda were the best guides for this tour! Very knowledgeable and everything we ate was delicious. We would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Vietnam and the best way to eat all the great street food

The back alley tour was amazing!! My tour guide (Vy) showed me around some around some amazing spots that I might have not visited otherwise, while also providing me with some fun facts that made it a very fun and informative experience! I also got to try some incredible Vietnamese street foods that (yet again) I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise and all of the spots were lovely and the food was delicious! Vy was so so lovely as well, I cannot compliment her enough! She made the entire experience feel like just hanging out with a friend (and I felt so safe on the motorbike!).
100% recommend, it was genuinely one of my favourite experiences during my 2 week trip to Vietnam.

We absolutely loved this tour! Such an amazing way to see all the hidden gems in Ho Chi Minh and get to know more about the culture and community. We took so many pictures and felt very safe on the bike rides! Our guides were friendly and gracious. 200% would recommend to anyone visiting the city
