Our guide (who’s name I’ve now forgotten) was great and informative. The tour was good however could do with some extra free time either in the water at both the travertines and the cleopatra pool or exploring the rest of the city including St Phillip’s tomb and church. The city of Hierapolis is amazing but I preferred Ephesus to be honest as the ruins are better restored/preserved. The water at the travertines is not as clear or clean as we had hoped with lots of algae and rocks that you can slip on (guilty as charged!). Also so many people there (even in November) so hard to get a nice photo.
