A comprehensive exploration of Boson's original neighborhoods and a complete retelling of the American Revolution from the founding of Boston to the Declaration of Independence. Unlike most tours which limit themselves exclusively to what's on the Freedom Trail (in whichever order and direction it happens to go) this tour takes a wholistic approach to the city and the story. We follow a curated route visiting 14 iconic landmarks in the same order the history unfolded, pulling everything together into an immersive citywide narrative that recreates the drama and brings to life the passions personalities, and psychologies that invented America.

City Hall Plaza is a pedestrian only plaza very centrally located directly across from and overlooking Faneuil Hall. We meet between the Five Iron Golf and City Hall. The guide will be in front of the seasonal beer garden and next to a large "BOSTON" sign with Faneuil Hall in the background that provides a great photo opportunity to start off the tour with.

The second oldest burial ground in Boston. We have already gone in two sets of burying grounds, so we only visit this from the outside, but we get spectacular views of Charlestown and Boston Harbor from the terrace across the street.

We do a complete recreation of the Battle of Bunker Hill - the biggest battle of the American Revolution.

The oldest commissioned naval vessel in the world. "Old Ironsides" was undefeated in battle. It was not part of the American Revolution, and we only see it from the other side of Boston Harbor, but we do provide an overview of its history and provide tips on how best to experience it.

The oldest residential neighborhood in America. You won't find a better combination of culture, food, and history in any square mile in the country. Italian, Seafood, Pizza, Cannoli, we'll talk about it all!

Excellent tour - I wanted an experience that would tie the historical sites together with the stories we’ve heard. This tour did exactly that for me, my wife, my parents and my boys (8 and 10). The guide was clearly passionate about the material and made it very accessible for all of us. He kept even the kids’ attention for the whole 3.5 hour tour. No complaining from them is a feat - he delivered. Highly highly recommend

Tyler is exceptional! Great story and history. The lay out is amazing and flows really well. This was our first time in Boston and we love history and this was a must do for us. Very happy with the tour, the information and the above and beyond experience we got. Recommend this tour and Tyler!

History lover here who has been to Boston many times, walked the Freedom Trail, visited sites, read books. But this tour brought to life the background, context, and details of Boston's Puritan beginnings and the buildup to the Rev War. Especially enjoyed the Boston Massacre site, King's Chapel Burying Ground, Granary Burying Ground, Old South Meeting House. Our guide had a wry sense of humor, was very informative, clearly well read, and loud, which was essential with all the city noise. He was very communicative prior to the tour and happily shared excellent tips such as taking the ferry across the river and lunch at the Warren Tavern in Charlestown. We followed his advice and had a wonderful afternoon as well.

Fabulous tour! Highly recommend! Pick this tour if you only have time for 1 tour in Boston. Pack shoes for walking and an umbrella in case it sprinkles.

Our Epic Tour with Tyler was fabulous! Way better than the Freedom Trail Tour. The Revoluntionary Story shared was accurate and fact based not biased like I found the Freedom Trail Tour.

I have done a ton of tours in my day and this was by far one of the best! Mike is full of so much knowledge and is very well read. He took what could have been a week (or more) of information and weaved it into a 3 hour tour.
My favorite part was the end (I won’t give any spoilers but I’ll tell you it was on my bucket list for Boston)!
This tour is not cheesy or hokey at all: I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Rob was the best. The night before, he sent us a text with his info and meeting place. We learned so much more than the usual guide would have told us. So much background info leading up to the start of the Revolutionary War. His passion was undeniable.

The tour guide has a history doctorate and was amazing. The tour was very interesting & informative.The walk thru out the historical section of Boston included cemeteries & the guide told stories & answered many question during the tour. We would highly recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful time walking the freedom trail. We saw all of the historical sights and learned a lot of things we didn’t know. Tyler was our guide and was awesome. He kept us all engaged and I would recommend this trip to everyone. I felt this was so much more educational and enjoyable over a bus tour.
