The transparent kayak tours of Chasing Syrens take you into some of the most beautiful locations of this area of the Amalfi Coast. The tours depart from the picturesque beach locality of Marina del Cantone (Massa Lubrense) near Sorrento. These tours are exclusive to this area and will enable you not only to admire the stunning coastline, but to experience an adventure of 360 degrees in the Natural Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella including visits to hidden coves and caves, snorkeling in crystal clear water with the possibility of seeing many different kinds of fish, free time for swimming and relaxing. The highlight is the tour to the Bay of Jeranto.
Each customer will be provided with dry bags and life jackets.

We really enjoyed this tour. The experience and views were amazing and our guide Luca was very friendly and helpful. We got lucky and had perfect weather and mostly calm seas. Keep in mind this tour can be a bit strenuous and is not for everyone, but if you are up for a challenge, this is an experience you won't want to miss. We were a little nervous about reaching the marina on time from Sorrento but we took the SITA Sud bus as suggested and it was easy. The bus ride was about 1 hour and Luca met us right when we got off the bus. Highly recommended for those wanting some adventure.

A great experience in Nerano. We had so much fun kayaking and swimming. Luca was an amazing guide with a passion for the outdoors and a zest for life. He shared great stories and took us to some truly beautiful locations. If you find yourself near Marina del Cantone you must give this experience a try.

Great Experience! Luca was an excellent guide and added tales of the history of the area to enhance the tour. Beautiful waters to kayak snorkel and swim in and a relaxed pace! No hurry/no worry!
Plenty of room in the Kayak for snorkeling gear. Bring a water bottle and maybe snacks. There’s places to eat and drink near the starting place and the SITA Bus Stops right there.
Would do the trip again!

Exploring small caves with our amazing guide Luca. Seeing places only accessible by kayak. No need to see the blue grotto when you can kayak to a smaller grotto with the same beautiful light reflecting in the waters without crowds.

Luca was an amazing guide and spoke very good English! Showed us some incredible sights and was a fantastic guide. He always kept safety as a top priority. I have been to southern Italy in past years but nothing compared to 3.5 hour clear kayak experience- you get to swim in a gorgeous little cove, visit a tiny church way up on the rocks and wowza…… we went into a cave! You can skip the touristy “blue grotto” and BOOK THIS! It’s so much better!

Luca was amazing!!! Guided us through wavy waters, while explaining what we didn’t need to worry about. Knowable, kind and pleasant to be around. The experience cr in the caves was fantastic!

We had a beautiful day. The area is so beautiful and our guide poi ed out so many thing I totally would have missed. Crystal cave was AMAZING! The team was great with out 10 and 12 year old girls and made the trip very special for them! Definitely recommend this activity!!

Our family (kids ages 9 and 15, and the mum) took the 4-hour tour with Luca - from the ease of getting to Marina Del Cantone (via the SITA bus from Sorrento - in itself a beautiful sight seeing tour - which conveniently terminates at the steps just above the meeting point), to Luca and Serena’s kind hospitality, the entire day was filled with fun! Laughter, AMAZING caves, dancing waves, cool jellyfish, octopus, “pomodoro al mare,” and more beautiful ocean life, all based out of stable and transparent kayaks that handled the Marina and Bay easily (so different than the heavy ocean kayaks we were used to). Luca’s knowledge of the area’s geography, geology, history and legend added to an experience we can’t imagine having anywhere else (as did some fun beach footy with Luca and Serena’s kids afterwards). Thankful we chased these Sirens during our time in Sorrento.
Our 9-year old reviewer weighs in: I LOVED the tour you might see some mermaids and dolphins if you’re lucky. The coves are low for the adults but you don’t have to duck. If you have a snorkel you can get to see So Many fish and some jellyfish
