My daughter and I had an amazing time. Guide/instructor Jose Luis (Luis) went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. Cerritos is BEAUTIFUL. We’ll be back and will request Luis.

Jose Luis was absolutely great with my 10 year old daughter and a wonderful pleasure to be for our private surfing lessons. He made my daughter feel safe, was patient, taught her well, and helped make surfing a new favorite sport of hers that she wants to continue to pursue. We had an amazingly great experience with High Tides and Jose Luis, and highly recommend him for any beginner surfer, especially young children.

I cannot say enough about the amazing one on one surfing day we had with Luis! He picked us up at our hotel on time, he was friendly, positive and very attentive to both me and my wife. We each had surfed before but needed more coaching/practice and he was able to tailor the lesson to each of us. I felt very comfortable in the break and after some time assisting us in the smaller part of the break he took me out further into some bigger waves. It was very rewarding to have so much progression of my beginner skills in one session. When I was feeling strong he coached me into catching waves for myself, when I was spent he helped me paddle out and gave me a push when necessary. The other local surfers at Costa Azul were friendly and very helpful, it was like having a team of surfing coaches. We were so pleased we booked another half day 48 hours later. High tide provided round trip transport, beach chairs, umbrellas, water access to private bathrooms and all the good vibes. I would actually travel back to Cabo just to surf with Luis again. I've spent time with at least 5 or 6 other surf instructors in my life and this guy tops them all!.

jugo and luis were awesome instructors!!!! They made it so fun and we’re awesome to talk to and surf with! They made sure we were at the spots with the best waves for our level as well. Definitely recommend!

My daughter took multiple lessons with High Tide during our most recent vacation. The company is beyond professional all the way from the booking process to the surf experience. I cannot recommend it enough!
