Rua do Santa Maria, Funchal, is well-known for its painted doors but it also has numerous restaurants along the whole length of this narrow, traffic-free, lane. Restaurant Jupiter is the first one at the western end and people seem to walk the length and then choose where to eat. Do not pass by Restaurant Jupiter: its food, service and costs are just right.

We saw lots of beautiful fish at both snorkeling spots. The crew was very attentive and we plenty of time in the water and enjoyed amazing beaches.

Marco Perez and Luis were great fun. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to Chileno Bay where there was very good snorkeling. They were very attentive and took great care of us. Luis had some ways of attracting the fish which gave us quite a show! We also enjoyed the umbrella they set up on the beach and the cold waters and granola bars. We'd take the trip again!

Marco and Luis were amazing!! They made the snorkeling tour easy, stress free and fun! While snorkeling they put us on turtles, eels, sea snakes and even a shark! They are excellent hosts and guides!!

This day trip was amazing, and allowed me to snorkel at 2 amazing beaches (Santa Maria and Chileno), I would not have seen otherwise in my short trip to Cabo (unless you stay at nearby hotels). Above all,, Luis was very knowledgeable, friendly guide. I was the only person that day, but my trip was not cancelled (unlike it would be, and was, with some other tour companies). Instead Luis made a lot of effort to show me everything (including pointing out all the different different fish types when snorkeling), and gave me plenty of time to explore the waters at my own pace. Highly recommended trip!
