In the fascinating Catalina Island and its paradisiacal beaches, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the entire Caribbean that will win you over with its magical crystalline waters.
We go to the “La Romana” pier, navigating the marvellous waters of the sea aboard a catamaran. We will arrive at the natural aquarium “La Pared”, where you can admire a bit of the aquatic world through the Snorkel.
After we arrive at the extraordinary Catalina Island, you will also have time to snorkel near the coast, thus being able to contemplate the spectacular marine life of the warm Caribbean waters. We will enjoy a buffet lunch to the sound of the sea while we enjoy a magnificent white sand beach.
We will return on the catamaran to the “La Romana” pier, where we will take the buses back to the hotels.
Relevant observations: Not suitable for pregnant women.

The tours are very bad, a horrible beach with few fish to see and in Santo Domingo a tourist warehouse does not support the locals

Absolute joke of an operation. Booked Catalina Island not realisinf it wasnt recomended for pregnant women. Add into this the fact that a tropical storm hit as we were due to go. Asked for a refund and was primised one by the agent. Told to return to them at 2pm which we did and were told nothing would be done and we had lost the $230 we had paid. The woman that dealt with us was rude and dismissive.
Do yourselves a favour and book through your tour operators rather than these chancers, because when it goes wrong, ypuve not got an ounce of support. common day criminals.

Just finished this tour. 730am pick up. The staff were great, as was the entertainment. The snorkeling was good. Follow the staff member who is in the water as he is feeding the fish to bring them out. There was no alcohol on the catamaran. You could purchase a Pina Colada for $10USD to be served in a pineapple on the island, where a "snack" is served about 1pm. The snack was a skewer of 4 pieces of fruit and a 1/4 of a ham sandwich. Swimming at the island was great. More snorkeling and kayaking were available. Back onto the boat to return to the starting point. A nice buffet lunch was served at about 3pm, and beer was available, but no other alcohol was offered. Then, back on the bus to return to the hotels with a bathroom break about halfway at a touristy store where you could sample mamajuana and receive a free locally made cigar.
Make sure you eat breakfast. If you find the open bar, let me know!!
