Travellers should book this tour once in Jamaica.
Based on the fact that the rapids aren't that great and the water is very shallow and close to the shoreline.
Each Bamboo Raft accomadates 2 adults and based on the weight they may accomadate a third person.
If you are a group of persons you can cruise side by side to capture your group photos and videos.
If you are adventurous your Captain will teach you how to steer the raft for a minute or two.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Coopa Tours was great, they responded so fast to my questions. Our driver Michael was right on time and super friendly. He told us all about different things in the area. The rafting experience was really fun, so glad we did this and booked with Coopa Tours. I highly recommend them.

Garth aka Doggie was an amazing guide. He was attentive and made me feel safe. Ask for him and he will guarantee a good experience. The river was short but very scenic. His raft was the most beautiful and he was able to assist with all my requests including great photos.

Amazing! My complaint - too short! One of the most relaxing and enjoyable excursions. Captain Beckham is filled with stories and entertainment. A really, really wonderful day out.

This tour was sent by our travel agent & it was cheaper than what was offered at the resort but compared to the experience & stories from our friends who booked through the resort; we should’ve just paid more. Our driver, Desmond was amazing. But the experience was very lackluster. The drivers music went out. Very limited selection of beer to buy from pub upon arrival, manager still hadn’t dropped any off by the time we were leaving. The $6 min foot massage was offered for $30 - even though the guy barely had enough clay for the massage for my friend and I. We were offered to purchase some homemade rum punch for $10 that was in a dirty bootleg bottle from one of the other guides. All in all the experience was mediocre, good for pics but know we should’ve just paid a little more for a better time.

My family loved bamboo rafting!!! Our tour guide, Desmond was amazing!!! He gave us so much interesting facts about the island and was just so kind. The owner of Coopa tours was so attentive with our tour schedule and even kept us updated through text. Our raft captains were so much fun and gave us such an amazing experience. Just cruising down the river, being able to see all the nature was so relaxing and beautiful! We would use this company again for future excursions and highly recommend them!!!!

The scenery was beautiful and the rafting was so peaceful. Everyone involved were so polite and made it so enjoyable. Our driver even stopped for us to get lunch before heading back to our ship. I definitely recommend for people visiting JA!
