It was our first time in Rio and we wanted a good understanding of the local culture beyond the fun beaches. The private tour was well organized and gave us a great opportunity to customize for things we wanted to see. Take a look at what's included and work with the guide to make it your own! We found we needed 6 hours to cover our favorites. I also suggest starting a little after rush hour to make it easier to get around town. (10 am for example).
Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable of the history, cool neighborhoods, food and art of the area. He gave us his experience of the local gay culture as well. We had a great time and really high recommend Sergio and the tour!

Leandro, our guide, made our trip memorable and meaningful. We wanted to see the sights, but we also wanted to get a sense for Rio. We truly enjoyed our day on the town. We were able to adapt to our speed of seeing the city and he gave us ideas about places we now want to return to.

Terrific tour! Sergio is friendly, knowledgeable and made all the difference for seeing the best places in Río. Can you do these sites yourself? Sure. But the time you’ll spend getting to them on your own will only mean that you’ll waste precious time on your trip, plus you’ll miss out on the history, interesting facts and tips that Sergio shared throughout the tour. He was very laid back and flexible making it for a great tour. We highly recommend this company and make sure to make a request for Sergio!
