Discover the landmarks of Rio on a guided tour, including pickup and drop off at hotels, airports or port in Rio.

Start with a visit to Corcovado Mountain, where you ride to the base of the 38-meter tall statue of Christ the Redeemer. Ride by van to the top or board the train, for a preview of the wonderful landscape. After some time to walk around and take the famous photo, we make the way back down.

Next, head towards the mythical Maracanã football stadium and observe its imposing façade. Continue to the legendary Sambódromo where the annual Carnival parade takes place. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio, a modern structure influenced by Mayan pyramids. Check out the brightly colored tiles of the world-famous Selarón Steps at Lapa.

Visit Sugar Loaf in the lovely Urca neighborhood and see one of the most iconic natural landmarks in Rio and the world. Take the cable car to the top in two stages.

Take in the most beautiful and panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro to end your tour.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Reaching the Cosme Velho district, you'll take a unique Swiss cogwheel train that climbs the mountain from its base to nearly the summit. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular. After some time to walk around and take photos, we make the way back down.

From Santa Teresa to Lapa, there is the famous Selaron steps, a stairway decorated with colorful tiles. Known for its energetic bohemian vibe, “Lapa” is the most buzzing area in town day and nighttime.

Have you ever heard of the Lapa neighborhood? If not, it should! It's very easy to know that you've arrived in Lapa. There is a famous monument that is the official image of Lapa, the large white arches aqueduct postcard of Rio.

Walk through Rio’s downtown through some of the coolest touristic areas catching sights and culture until Mauá square. The walk passes by historic attractions, lots of bars and restaurants, arriving at Mauá square where all tribes and people get together.

See a different side of Rio in its up-and-coming Porto Maravilha area symbol of the renewed Rio after the Olympics.

Admire the gorgeous cutting-edge museum structure, designed by famous architect Santiago Calatrava.

Mural painted by Eduardo Kobra listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest graffiti in the world.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro stands out among the buildings in the Center of the city. Its unique architecture catches the attention of everyone passing by and surprises those who visit it! Its appearance and history are unconventional and make it one of the most curious spots in the wonderful city!

The Sambodrome is the home to the Rio Carnival, where the parades take place during three nights every year, a concrete structure built specifically for the Carnival. It's an avenue with bleachers on both sides divided into sectors.

The most important Brazilian football temple. Scenery of important Brazilian football classic and facts, like hosting the final matches for the 1950 and 2014 football World Cup and the Olympics final football match in 2014.

We will then go up the Sugarloaf Mountain. A series of two cable cars will take you to the top of Sugar Loaf. At the top, again some of the most breathtaking views of Rio, this time from a different vantage point than at Corcovado. After that, tourists may want to enjoy lunch at a very nice “all-you-can-eat buffet” steakhouse restaurant (not included).

We had an absolutely fabulous day with Henry in Rio. It was a very busy day there as it was New Year’s Eve but Henry really maximized our time and we were able to see so much more with him than we e Ed would have on our own. He is personable and knowledgeable. A wonderful day at Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf drive by Copacabana and visit to Selaron steps was capped off by a Caiprinha we purchased at a kiosk. Great day all around.

Our guide Camila was the most memorable part of the trip. Her enthusiasm for Rio especially as a true native of the city made our 6 hours the most enjoyable! Highly recommend Camila and this company. We were traveling from the Amazon and had only 24 hrs in Rio. We made the most of it based on her suggestions and the tour! Look forward to returning to Rio in the near future. Camila Feher was our tour guide (6-hour Tour in Rio de Janeiro) on December 18, 2023. My family really enjoyed Camila as our tour guide. She was very professional, knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for her profession. This was the first visit to Rio de Janeiro for my wife and I. This is the 4th visit for my father-in-law. Touring with Camila was like touring with a close friend - She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and took time to answer all of our questions. What a fun day we had with Camila and assisted by our wonderful driver Maicon who was never far away.

Camila’s energy was constant throughout the day and due to the weather and her expert knowledge she was able to accommodate the needs of our family group.

Not only did we get to learn the history and culture of Rio, Camila was humble enough to ask us about our country and culture.

We flew in for a day trip, and the 6 hour private tour was a fantastic use of our holiday time.

Well done Camila and the team that allowed us to have a beautiful time and create an unforgettable memory.
