It was a beautiful COLD morning that started with hot drinks at the lodge where the chimney was set. When we reached the flying spot, we witnessed the preparation of the balloons which was cool. We also managed to watch the lovely sunrise from up there along with giraffes and ostriches running. The 1 hr flight was awesome followed by a cute drinks bar set up in the landing spot in a split second and we were give certificates of courage haha We than headed back to the lodge & had a cozy breakfast buffet overlooking a pool, a lake and we enjoyed some amazing views.

From the point we arrived until we left, we were taken care of. We travelled to the lodge via uber and arrived nice and early.Marius was very funny and put us at our ease. After some refreshments and some paperwork, we headed to the take-off site. Amazing to see the balloons being inflated. Adam, our pilot, was calm, funny and very knowledgeable about the animals we saw. Just a wonderful, peaceful and unique way to see the countryside! Even though it was cold in June, definitely recommend it.

Great experience, the trip was very lovely. We had some amazing views. Got engaged during the flight with some assistance from Harold our pilot to capture the perfect moment. The ground crew were very helpful to make the landing as smooth as possible.

The most incredible to start to my birthday, from arrival to departure!
Adam was a fantastic pilot spotting white rhino, giraffes and zebra on our flight. He was very informative and willingly answered all passengers questions. Thank you for making my birthday extra special 🥳
Highly recommend this, excuse the pun 😂 The most pleasant experience.

Outrageously expensive.. better entertainment elsewhere for cheaper! Saddens me that the local population or average South African cannot enjoy this. I want to start something similar to cater for the South African market only. Overseas visitors will then pay 400% more.

Everything was just an new beautiful adventure and learning experience, from arrival at the launch site to seeing the size of the balloon in real life the sound of the heat gas tank and how hot the flame is. To meeting the Captain and the briefing we received from him before we took off. Capt kept us informed of his movements and what and where, we were flying over at all times.
We spotted animals, river, hills, land (cradle of humankind), lodge, mountains, trees, beautiful blue Skye’s, sun and clouds we had view of other balloons which was beautiful to watch and it gave us a chance to take beautiful pictures of the other balloons from our flight. Ooohhhh!!! The landing was spot on!!! Beautiful and amazing…
