excellent tour, we were picked up on time from our Paris hotel, the trip to versaille took about one hour, we met our guided tour at the entrance, getting inside was quick and easy since we skipped the line, the guided tour inside the palace to about 1h 45 minutes, tour guide was excellent, the palace is amazing, then we had about 2 h free time so we went and explore the garden (tickets were included), tour the area around the palace, then picked up by our driver around 2 PM going back to our paris hotel, excellent tour, highly recommended

Excellent tour, we were picked up from our hotel in Paris, the trip was about 1 h, we met with our tour guide at the entrance, getting inside was easy and fast since we skipped the line, the tour guide was excellent, the palace tour lasted about 1h 45 minutes, then we had about 2 h free time, we explored the garden and the area around the palace, then we met our driver around 2 PM who took us back to our hotel in Paris, excellent tour, highly recommended

This was a fantastic tour - our favorite out of everything we have done in Paris. Our guide was awesome. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. The entire tour was delightful. The Palace in Versailles was breathtaking. Hard to imagine living in such luxury. I highly recommend this company and this tour. We had headsets so that allowed our guide to explain all the details in the paintings and statues. Loved every minute of it. Don’t forget to tip your guide!!

First, this tour included hotel pick up, our hotel was just outside their parameters do we had to walk to a meet point, that was fine, no issue there. The fellow that picked us up was rude and abrasive and never introduced himself. We picked up 4 more people and off we were. It was an hour ride, we get there and he calls our guide, I don’t speak French, but she seemed surprised he was there, then he tells us to get out of the car, we have a 45 minute break, we were early. At the appointed time, back in the car for a 5 minute ride to Versailles. Three other identical vans pulled in at the same time. All the same tour. It’s was confusion to separate who was in which group, everyone getting earphones. It was totally disorganized.
We are so disappointed with this day tour. It was disorganized & so overcrowded it was frustrating and scary. First, we paid $$$ for a “skip the line” tour, we did NOT skip the line, we waited outside in the sun (it was very hot out) in a crowd that was huge and kept pushing to try & get entry. Versailles gets an average of 45,000 visitors a day and has ONE entrance and you need to go thru airport type security. It also has ONE exit with a turnstile, in an emergency it seems like you’d be trapped.
Versailles is beautiful but the crowds were awful. It was difficult to hear the guide, to appreciate the art, to also pay attention to the crowds to avoid pickpockets and inadvertently bumping into someone. It was difficult to not get separated from the group. I had trouble hearing my guide, and I wanted to hear her. The problem was to hear her you had to put both earphones in. If you do that-you cannot hear anything around you, and in a massive crowd who are all moving, pushing, walking in front of you & stopping, bumping into you, you need to pay attention to the crowd. So the choice was pay attention to her or pay attention to your own safety.
The other frustrating thing was other tourists who think this is their own private photo shoot! Who stand in whatever spot they have chosen & have someone photographing them repeatedly in multiple poses.
Strollers, many people brought their kids and strollers are a tripping hazard in a huge crowd!
Our tour had both half and full day people. We paid for the full day but wanted to leave at the half day mark. The chauffeur said no, the van was full. We ere too far outside of where we were picked up for a cab. Uber was $$$. So we stayed the whole day. Way too long. Not enough shade, not enough places to sit. Not enough places to eat. Only two snack shops out back, they were shaded but super limited seating and some of that was right next to the bathrooms.
What a long, frustrating & disappointing day.

Even with skip the line passes it was over 40 minute wait in the POURING Rain to gain entrance through security. NEVER BUY AN UMBRELLA from the vendors for more than 5 eu. I paid a desperate 20 eu only to find you could bargain down. I had also been on this tour 20 years ago and we didn’t see half as much or get as much story and detail this time. Totally missed seeing the formal dining room and hearing about how the dinners were orchestrated. Additionally, we did not choose the van option and traveled ourselves. Uber from Louvre for 3 was 50 eu but worth not being jammed into a van. We took the RER train home for 12 eu for 3. Fast, comfortable and not a far walk from the Palace. This allowed us to come and go as we pleased. Overall - ok

Despite our hotel being in Paris, it wasn’t within the pickup area, so we had to walk about 10 minutes to another hotel to be picked up. Our driver was moderately friendly, but didn’t make a big effort. The actual tour guide was very good, and although Versailles was packed with people, she showed us the highlights. Unfortunately, the tour of the palace ran overtime, leaving us insufficient time to explore the gardens. The tour we purchased was supposed to cover not only the palace and gardens, but also a musical fountain show - which we paid extra for. Much to our disappointment, the times for the fountain shows were either before our palace tour was finished, or after the time we had to meet our driver to return to Paris! We were expecting the fountains and gardens to be much prettier than they were, but honestly, with no water spurting out, and many of the topiaries overgrown, it was very underwhelming:(

We booked this excursion to get out of the big city of Paris for a day and see the Palace. It was a great day. The driver picked us up from our hotel in a very nice, clean minivan and communication was outstanding - they texted us several times before pickup to inform us of traffic and hence a slight delay.
We were dropped of in the parking lot of Versailles where we met our guide for the day. She was quite knowledgeable and we learned a lot of the history through the headsets we had on while on the inside palace tour. Then we had the gardens to explore on our own, where we had time and space to sit on a bench and enjoy the picnic lunch we'd brought along. Some of the gardens were being re-planted in preparation for the Olympics (all the equestrian events are to be held at Versailles) and this was interesting to witness.

Pickup and drop off was brilliant .. Could not understand the tour guide very well , she was French so her trying to speak English and us trying to get what she was saying was very difficult so the whole tour was not good and disappointing!
The gardens are amazing but it was quite big so trying to book the golf cart was a nightmare, long wait and very few carts for big crowds so we couldn’t book it because pickup time set. iIt was such a waste to see only half the gardens.

It was easy to set up our pick up location. Our guide met us at Versailles and gave us a good tour of the palace. The garden tickets are self-showing. Our tour started at 1pm. The tour of the palace ended with around 2 hours to visit the gardens or nearby area before our driver met us at 5pm for the ride back to our hotel.
