Located about 30km south of Syracuse, Noto has one of Sicily’s most beautiful historic centre in the Late Baroque Style, built after the terrible earthquake of 1693, that destroyed a lot of cities of the southeastern part of Sicily.
In Noto, that was called the “Garden of Stone” by the historian Cesare Brandi, you can enjoy its spectacular baroque monuments and historical buildings.

Very positive experience, the tour guide Enrica was able to convey a lot of information to us in a short time and managed, thanks to her preparation and friendliness, to capture the attention of the whole family. Very recommended!

We love Noto. This was our second visit however this time we went for the Christmas holidays. The weather was temperate and comfortable and the tourists were at a minimum. Good for us! It is such a charming and manageable town. We elected to stay right in town to minimize car travel and that was the best decision. Great restaurants and of course, Cafe Sicilia for almond granita. Easy side trips to Siracusa, Modica and Ragusa too.
