This is what I call a “Indiana Jones excursion”. An unforgettable, crazy half-day adventure where you will take on the trails of the Dominican countryside.
From our ranch in Macao, we traverse the remote farmlands of northern Punta Cana, passing palm trees and tobacco plantations with the Eastern Cordillera in the background.
Our first stop is at a picturesque ranch in the countryside for an introduction to local products such as cacao, coffee, tobacco and Mamajuana (a Dominican aphrodisiac elixir) and green tea leaves.
Back on the rocky terrain, amid panoramic views of endless farmland and distant mountains, our excursion takes us to a picturesque cave filled with a deep natural well. Skip; Cool off and wash in these refreshing underground waters.
The longest leg of our journey is also the biggest contrast. From the hidden cave in the field, we return on our muddy path, and something else, to the shores of the photogenic Macau beach.

It was a lot of fun, we rented the Buggys to have fun and get to know Punta Cana which we ended up loving because of their comfort and everything they can do, the staff was very attentive and when I return I will know who to count on.

Macao Beach was beautiful, and the scenic cave was amazing! We lucked out and ended going out with just 1 more couple. The small group made it even better. JB was very attentive and did a great job with the tour.
We’d do this again!

Very fun! Got a good feel for the culture and it was a memorable experience. We took several stops and the people were very helpful and knowledgeable. I felt safe and everyone wanted to make sure you had a good time!
