Make your trip memorable to visit highlight of Ubud. Firstly you visit holy water temple ( healing water ) then jungle swing while seeing the rice terrace view. Before we visit Ubud palace and Ubud traditional market we visit Monkey forest and walk around the beauty forest of Ubud city.

This was so much fun to learn about the culture and experience the holy temple and waterfall. Our driver was Robert. He was patient and gave clarity to a lot of my questions about prayer and sacrifice. I would suggest wearing water shoes to the waterfall because it’s slippery. Also bring your own sarong to the holy temple. They do have them there should you forget. You will have to wear their green one to actually enter the holy water for cleansing. We didn’t visit the rice terrace because our amazing driver took us the Instagram Swing that wasn’t a part of the tour. Please book this excursion to experience all that Ubud has to offer.

Dege was our tour guide and a fantastic driver for both the early morning sunset hike at Mt. Batur and activities through the morning with an elephant ride at the Bali Zoo. Gede picked us up right on time at 2:30 AM for the sunset hike, and was a very knowledgeable driver with good taste in music. 5 stars, I would definitely recommend Gede as your tour guide driver for the sunset hike and other Bali activities!!!! We are from Atlanta, GA in the US. And would definitely visit Bali and all it has to offer again.

Bali elephant ride .., The elephants look completely deranged, unhappy and mentally lost., they appear to be just going with the motion of the handlers and it’s extremely sad. The handlers hit them in the head with a wooden stick as well. The elephants kept bobbing their heads up and down and swinging their trunks on the floor. I actually couldn’t help myself from crying. It was so horrible. I have videos but not able to post them here.

We done the Bali elephant ride one day and a tour in ubud one day and our driver was Putu and I couldn’t recommend enough he was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us ! Elephant ride and zoo was awesome aswell and visited rice fields and markets and went for an amazing lunch recommended by Putu !! All in all a great two days !
