This was the perfect day tour. It is so peaceful at the top of Esja looking over Reykjavík and the surroundings. Then to relax in a geothermal pool after such a hike was exactly what I needed! Great tour for those who like outdoor activities.

A group of three adults with a short time to get out of the city, this was the perfect half-day trip for us. Our guide was very informed and experienced, he knew the trail extremely well, and was very friendly and easy to chat with. The hike was great- even in steady rain; the hot tub visit was the perfect second stop; and lunch in a great restaurant at the harbor was relaxed and delicious. We loved this part of our time in Iceland- great fun, great guide and good value.

This was a perfect day. I always wanted to go up Mt Esja and it was really nice to have a guide. Afterwards, the hot tub was very relaxing and dinner was great. This was well worth it to me and I had a great time.

The trip up Mt. Esja is totally worth it. Gorgeous scenery, easy to moderate difficulty. We had an awesome guide who was very friendly. They swimming pool and meal afterward was totally worth it.

This was an excellent tour. Highly recommended for anyone thinking of hiking around Reykjavík. There was only a total of 3 people in the tour so it felt like having a personal guide. The hike can be a bit challenging if you’re out of shape but still do able and worth it. You’ll get a wonderful view of Reykjavík! There’s a quick stop at a pool / hot tub after the hike then off to beer sampling and food!

What a great tour ! An amazing way to experience one of the most popular hiking trail of people living in Reykjavik city. It was not "touristy" so we could enjoy every bit of the mountain and watch over Reykjavik city at it's finest! The guides were great and although it's a pretty tough trail to hike, it's totally worth it. The view was amazing.. and afterwards swimming and sauna were the perfect way to end the exercise. The food was excellent and everything just ...Perfecto !!

The hike was intense but the views were definitely worth it. You can see all of Reykjavik and more - you set the pace (which was great, I was really drained when we reached the summit). The downhill was much easier but a bit muddy and slick in places. Still, a great hike in the morning! We took a stop over in a nearby public pool (definitely bring swimwear and a towel - a change of clothes probably helps too as your hiking gear might be drenched in sweat). A bit of hot and cold to help ease the muscles followed by a fantastic lunch on the harbor and a local brew. Definitely recommend the experience!

The trip to Esja was really something, the view of Reykjavík skyline and the reykjanes peninsula was amazing. after the hike we went to Lágafellslaug for a swim-sauna and shower this pool is so nice and relaxing. in the afternoon we had dinner at Kopar restaurant wich was really savoury and exiting(compliments to the staff of Kopar-they really seem to know how to treat theyr gests)and to top it all off Jóhann our guide to Esjan made the trip so much fun with cool facts about iceland and icelandic nature around the capital area and Esjan... TNX SO MUCH
