Our tour with Sanja was a wonderful experience! We both thought the tour was very organized from start to finish. We felt like we were able to freely enjoy the park, while still being part of a group trip and hearing Sanja’s valuable stories about both the park and Croatia overall. We learned so much and are grateful for the experience. Thank you Sanja!

We went to Plitvice Lakes with our guide Antonia. Don't be put off by the long bus journey: the scenery you're about to see is breathtaking.
Our guide was funny and very considerate. Her explanations were clear and thorough. She followed us all throughout the day and kept us updated with a WhatsApp group.
On top of that, Antonia had great recommendations, especially for restaurants. We had a great time and would recommend it going to this wonderful National Park.

The tour to visit Plitvice National Forest was spectacular. Lovro, of Booker Travel Agency, shared a wealth of knowledge and humor throughout the entire tour - which makes a big difference in selecting the right tour. The bus ride was about 1.5 hours. Tip: Pack snacks, lunch and drinks. There is an opportunity at a stop to get snack also. It’s a lot of walking. There is no swimming at the park. No swimming at all.
We arrived at the park, took a little trolley bus to the start of the park. We went through the upper lakes, took the boat ride across and went through the lower lakes. Lots of walking. I had about 14k steps towards the end.
Great tour, invaluable experience. Thank you!

Great tour. However, the description on Viator is not accurate. It says 11 hours and the meeting place is at 7:30 AM. They don’t start counting until 8 AM when the tour departs. It is actually 12 hours plus the meeting time. It made it a 12.5 hour day! It is four hours to get there. Four hours at the park. Four hours to return.
The tour also consist of walking about 10,000 steps. If you are not in shape, or able to walk that long of a distance, this isn’t the tour for you.
I enjoyed my time and would recommend the tour, but I would recommend taking it from Zadar and not from split. Just too much time in a bus.

Our guide Antonia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the park. It was absolutely stunning and it was a highlight of our trip! We did the self guided tour so we explored a bit on our own but Antonia was always there to make sure we were on the right path. Highly recommend this tour!

I chose this particular tour based on the reviews and was very happy. Sanje was an excellent tour guide with a good mixture of giving us useful information and giving us time to explore ourselves. Got to see some beautiful sights at the lakes! Most definitely worth a visit.

Sanja, our guide, was great. Funny, witty and helpful. Making us feel at ease in front of the immensity of the park.
It’s a 3:30 hour trip from Split and about 4 hours in the park, almost 9km of walk and about 15,000 steps according to my Apple Watch.
I was weary about the trip because I wanted to take my mom who is 74 years old, but she loved it. A bit tired in the end but nothing exhausting for an elderly in shape!
We took the bus/train to the top, then hiked on the upper lakes. followed by a 20min boat trip, then hiked again to the lower lakes. It was just amazing. No regrets!
