What really set this tour apart was the fun and engaging approach our guide, Nico, took. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a talent for storytelling that kept us entertained throughout the tour. Whether we were exploring ancient ruins or strolling through bustling piazzas, our guide’s vibrant personality and infectious energy made every moment enjoyable.

Excellent experience for a family with kids. It saves a ton of time and sweat vs walking the city. Tour can be customized to your preferences. We elected to see a mix of smaller sites and the bigger, more popular areas. The parents got to see all of the things we wanted to see and the kids stayed happy because they got to ride around on a golf cart & we stopped for gelato. Antonio was our tour guide and he was great. He was patient with the kids, he was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, he seemed to be truly passionate about Rome, and he was a safe driver. Two thumbs up. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t sign up for a longer tour. We did 3 hours and could easily have handled & enjoyed more.

We had a fabulous time on our private 3hr golf cart tour. The 6 of us came into town from the Celebrity Cruise ship. Ilaria was our guide and we couldn’t ask for anything better! Her friendliness coupled with her incredible knowledge of the history of Rome was perfectly balanced. She also provided recommendations for us to explore on our own after the tour and even secured a reservation for our party of 6 at a lovely cafe, Luciano. The pasta, wine and shopping were a perfect way to end our day. Thank you Iliara for a beautiful day!

This was the best way to see the highlights of Rome efficiently with kids. It was hot in June and it was so nice to be in a shaded golf cart that could go many places a bus could not go, and get a private, customizable tour from a knowledgeable guide. Nico was entertaining for my 7 year old and we learned a lot we wouldn’t have just seeing the sites on our own. There is so much to see in Rome, I would highly recommend this tour on your first visit!

We booked the “Rome by Golf Cart Private Tour” via Viator for our family of 4’s first night in Rome. What a fabulous way to get orientated and to see some of the city’s best highlights! It is a great way to get around town - you are able to explore much faster than on foot, it is easier and more fun than a car, and zipping through the small streets of Rome with the breeze through your hair is a great way to get over jet lag! Our wonderful guide Elena, spoke excellent English, was a great driver and a fabulous & knowledgeable guide. A definite must-do when in Rome!

Our family of 15 from St. Louis arrived in Rome in the am of June 14th. We had booked this tour 6 to 7 months prior for afternoon 3 hour golf cart tour to acclimate and see many sites in Rome. The guides met us at our VRBO for pick up. We had 3 carts. Nicco, Ilayria and Georgia greeted us warmlyband each shared knowledge and historic information on the sites visited. They added personal stories, humor and recommendations on a variety of things to see and do. Our group from 70 to 10 enjoyed every stop along the way- especially the gelato! This tour was of great value and well worth the dollars! Highly recommend!
