This full day tour will take you to "Arouca Geopark" where the Paiva River flows at the bottom of a glorious valley.
The Paiva Walkways or Passadiços do Paiva that follows the river path is our goal.
A conveniente stop in Arouca village to try the local sweets.
Once there, you will have chance to go for an 8 Km path with one of the best views in our country!
After the morning hike head to Alvarenga, a small village famous for having the best meat in Portugal!
A unique lunch to try "Posta Arouquesa", a beautiful piece of grilled beef and judge by yourself.

A visita aos passadiços do Paiva foi excelente, a paisagem é linda e a caminhada desafiadora, mas fizemos com calma, aproveitando cada momento. Muito interessante, também, conhecer a Ponte Suspensa 516 Arouca, lindo trabalho de engenharia. O almoço foi uma atração especial, em um lugar delicioso, comida e vinhos fantásticos. Agradeço ao guia Marco que foi extremamente atencioso, disponível e trouxe muitas informações que tornaram o passeio ainda mais bacana.

I had a great day with Teresa on the tour! She was so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She spent time getting to know everyone in the tour and gave us all excellent recommendations for what to do in Porto. She also sent us photos she took during the day as well! The tour itself was super fun and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend doing the small group tours, they are so much more personalized. Cannot recommend Teresa enough!! Such a lovely person - thanks for the great day Teresa ☺️

A journey through the interior of the mountains, where we feel that nature is alive. For those who want to get away from the common places already in the city of Porto, this is perfect. You must be physically prepared to walk a lot and under a sweltering heat, but it pays to see the unique landscape of the Paiva River. In the middle of the route you can always refresh yourself by taking a swim on the river beach. When you reach the end, you will soon forget your tiredness, when you have a good lunch of typical meat of the region. I recommend this visit one hundred percent and thank the guide Teresa for the great day I spent here.

Perfectly organized and very friendly day excursion with Raquel, our guide.
She accompanied us to the suspension bridge and then she joined us at the 4th kilometer after dropping off the vehicle at the end of this 8km suspended walk.
Magnificent views and landscapes along the Paiva River and on the suspension bridge!
And an excellent meal in a Portuguese restaurant.
We highly recommend!

The walkways and suspension bridge were well maintained and the day was really enjoyable, broken by a swim halfway which was a great way to cool down. The lunch was entirely delicious. Our guide, Machaela was very knowledgeable, responsible and courteous. I would recommend this activity and company

Great trip with Tomas. He could not have been more attentive and caring and made the day run really smoothly. This is a very unique experience and having someone to drive and get you from a to b just made it very stress-free so we were able to focus on the beautiful views and enjoying ourselves.
There was not as much space in this vehicle as we have experienced on other trips of this kind. The van was a bit of a squeeze. We were happy to enjoy the suspension bridge and the whole wooden walkway with this tour. The scenery is stunning in this area. Thanks Tomas for a wonderful day.
