Our guide Ali G was the best tour guide I've ever met. He was so humourous and kind. He made us confortable during this tour. The itinerary was harder than I thought, but Ali G provided free water and cherries. Totally recommended. But please eat breakfast as much as possible because most of the hard itinerary are done before lunch to avoid hot sunshine.

The tour with Hakan and Ercan was great! We enjoyed it a lot. The tour was very funny, engaging and informative. Both, Hakan and Ercan are very competent and friendly.

Had a great day with Ali G, tour guide, and Nafis, driver
Coolest part was the under ground city, second coolest was Selemi cathedral
I learned quite a bit about the ancient history of the area, which I really enjoy
Ali G was very pleasant, his English is good and Nafis’ driving was great
I really enjoyed hearing about the “evil eye” charm that is important to the culture
The area is unique in its geography with fairy chimneys and cave dwellings
This area reminds me of Matera, Italy
Lunch was simple, included and decent in quality, much appreciated after waking quite a bit
The tour team provided water, much needed on this hot summer day
All in all, worth the investment

The tour was fantastic. The tour guide was knowledgeable who gave us elaborate explanations about the history, lifestyle and culture of olden times in Turkey with underground cities and their aim and struggle for survival and their day to day life.

The tour was well organised and the tour guide Hakan was excellent! The lunch was decent. The Ihlara valley hiking tour was ok but there are no interesting points as such. The caves we saw before we arrived at the Ihlara valley were interesting. The underground city tour of Derinkuyu is a unique experience

Hakan (tour guide) and Yusuf (driver) from Hereke travel tour company provided me, my wife and another 8 or so people a fantastic and memorable tour of the Central and southern areas of Cappadocia. I booked the tour via tripadvisor and the booking and pre-trip communication was excellent. The minibus was comfortable and the journey itself was relaxed. Hakan is an excellent tour guide and Yusuf an excellent driver. Hakan's explanation of the history and geography of the area during the tour was brilliant. He was funny and nice-natured and looked after us well. Take good footwear and be prepared for a fair bit of walking.
Lunch by the river was nice. We would advise people to take cash to pay for the drinks/desserts as they did not accept card payment at the river restaurant. The last stop at the jewellery shop by pigeon valley was interesting but the jewellery was way over-priced (no obligation to buy). Overall an excellent tour which we would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time with guide Hakam and driver Yusuf. We especially enjoyed exploring the underground city, as well as the monastery and the hiking. The lunch was great too! Note that they only take cash for the drinks.
