Not just a Central Market tour! On our 3-hour Moroccan cultural and culinary experience, you'll join a licensed guide for local sightseeing, street food tastings and traditional insights in and around Casablanca's Central Market. Along the way you'll see amazing art deco architecture, beautifully designed civic buildings, and Casablanca's unique urban mix of things both traditional and modern. We'll wrap things up in Marché Central's fish market, home to a vast assortment of fresh fish and seafood. Our selections will be cooked to order at a nearby restaurant, where we'll sit among locals and feast on our incredible lunchtime spread.

We had a terrific experience and a very fun tour with Hasnaa! She took us to multiple places, told us much of local history, and helped us have an amazing and authentic seafood lunch. We did some shopping with her afterward, and she gave us cookies. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food tour of Casablanca! Our guide, Nezha, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and very generous with her time. She took us for a breakfast pastry, then a snack pastry, then a massive seafood lunch at the market where she had pre-selected all the seafood and the restaurant had prepared it, and finally to a local bazaar. The lunch was overwhelming and wonderful and our only regret was that we couldn't eat everything. Highly, highly recommend!

I did this street food tour with Christine and Nezha (local guide) in the popular Habous quarter. I enjoyed it very much. It's a must for travellers who like to mingle among the local people and want to smell and taste their delicious food. It's a pleasure to walk with Christine and Nezha. They give valuable background information about the food one should try.

Two friends and I signed up for this tour on our first day in Casablanca. Our guide Nezha was joined by Christine, the owner of the company, who came along to take photographs and experience the tour with us. We snacked on grilled bread with amlou (an addictive combination of ground almonds, argan oil and honey) and fresh juice, then a tour of some important civic buildings nearby. When we returned to the market, we explored it a bit, tried some fresh oysters, then went to a fish stall where Nezha selected a mind-boggling assortment of swordfish, salmon, calamari, sole, shrimp, fresh grilled sardines, The seafood was taken to a nearby restaurant where it was all cooked for us. This was accompanied by spring rolls made with minced seafood and vermicelli, Moroccan bread, tomato/onion salad, eggplant salad and lentils. It was an incredible feast and a great introduction to Moroccan life and cuisine. We enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it to anyone who likes food - lots and lots of delicious food!
