We were on a cruise last week that docked in La Spezia, Italy on 6/26/2024. We signed up for an excursion to see Florence, not realizing that we would be on the bus for the majority of the time to travel to Florence (over 4 hours roundtrip) with about 3.5 hours to explore. The tour guide provided a route to see some of the sites which included the "copy" of David, but we were fortunate enough to book these tickets in advance and upon meeting the Viator contact, we bypassed the line and went right in. We would have never gotten in otherwise and given the heat and the lines everywhere, we were able to make good use of the limited time we had in Florence. Highly recommend these tickets if seeing David is on your bucket list!

The Accademia Gallery was of course worth going to see. It wasn’t overly clear how we were supposed to get our tickets to get in but thankfully people who worked there were helpful. It was very crowded and most people are loud and inconsiderate. And most were sitting in their phones. It felt like it should be a quiet place, some place more reverent but it is still worth seeing. We went to see The David but was more impressed with the musical instruments.

Betalte dobbel pris på inngangen. På billetten sto €20 og vi betalte €40 per billet. Men vi kom inn, og vi slapp en 5m lang kø.
Det dumme er at disse operatørene kjøper ut alle billetter, slik at det blir utsolgt. Ergo var dette eneste muligheten vår til å besøke Accademia.

The instructions were very clear, and once we got to the meeting point, we were met promptly with a point person who gave us the tickets and got us into the express lane to enter the Academia. We were ushered in in no time. It was excellent and money well spent!

Tour company was looking for us as we arrived. Escorted us to the special line. We were inside in two minutes. Great. Otherwise a very long in the sun.

Extremely easy to meet our Viator contact and retrieve our tickets. It was a hot day and long lines. We were happy to bypass the wait and head straight in. Highly recommend!

The Accademia Gallery is an absolute "must see" when visiting Florence. The "David" is even more impressive in person than one can possibly imagine. Photos do not compare. Viator is always my vendor of choice when traveling. This experience was unguided and went smoothly without any delays or issues. Thank you Viator!

Interesting skip-the-line ticket in case of crowds at the beginning of May at 2 p.m., it was perhaps unnecessary. In any case, you still have to wait to pass the entry controls.
