We were staying in Cortona looking for a wine tasting experience. We had an excellent day touring around Montalcino with Francesco, he offered us a unique perspective as a native of the area and as a sommelier. His advice on food and wine pairing is something I will not so forget. My husband and I have had wine tastings in many areas (California, France, Oregon, Spain) and this is one of our favorites. We it only tasted great wine but we had a wonderful lunch. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

We went to 3 vineyards that were picked by our guide Francesco. They each had different styles and variety of wines, with beautiful views and rich history. He was very well informed and helped us to understand how to chose wines best suited to our dining experiences! It was a lovely day. I will use my new knowledge to better choose wines for my experiences moving forward.

I highly recommend any tour with this business. We first found this business and used them for a winery tour in 2017 so in returning to Cortona this year with family we had to use them again. Francesco did not disappoint. Extremely knowledgeable and interesting from start to end. In fact we did 2 days of tours with him with wineries the first day and Orvieto the second. Federica was also extremely helpful in organizing the tours. I cannot recommend enough touring a tour with Francesco assisted by Federica. My family cannot wait to return to Cortona largely because of them.

My wife and I did a full day tour of the Montepulciano region via Do It In Tuscany. The tour itself was amazing… the wine, the food, the scenery and the people we met on the tour were such an authentic insight into the region. This tour is an absolute must-do for anyone staying in Tuscany and wanting to experience authentic Italian culture of this region.
Francesco was a fantastic guide and sommelier. His knowledge was impressive and the information we learnt from him about the wine, vineyards and wine production process was very interesting. Through this experience, Francesco has truly changed the way we think about food and wine and we can’t wait to now properly enjoy the food and wine throughout Italy.

A wonderful tour of Montalcino and Val D’Orcia with our guide Francesco. We spent some quality time in the beautiful town, toured a medium sized winery with wine and olive oil tasting with a delicious lunch, and finished with a tour and tasting at a smaller winery. The wine was excellent (of course) but our guide made this a truly educational and fun experience for everyone.

We were blown away by our day with Francesco! I had initially thought I was just signing up for a driver to take us to wineries for tours, so I was amazed that we got to spend the entire day with a sommelier that was able to really give us the opportunity to understand the history and culture of Tuscany while enhancing the experience of each of the three amazing wineries we got to enjoy. The wine, the food, the company - all were amazing and I cannot recommend the experience strongly enough!

What a day! We got picked up in Montalcino and visited 3 wineries throughout the region with lunch. This was not your typical wine tour, this was above and beyond. Our guide Francesco was phenomenal!! Not only did he transport us but he gave us our own tour ontop of the tour provided by the winery. He was everything and then some! Such a fantastic day and something we will remember ! We will definitely be back and use this company.

What a great tour.
Francesco did a magnificent job, taking us to 3 very different and unique family owned wineries, with some also farming olives for oil and delicious honey.
Great stories from each families’ journey building their businesses.
Francesco taught us a great deal with his extensive knowledge of food and wine.
There were 3 of us couples touring and I think we all experienced an amazing day.
