Our day trip to Cairo with Ramaskha Tour was even better than we expected. Ahmed our driver had a really clean, air conditioned and comfortable mini van. He also made sure we stopped whenever we needed to and even had drinks and snacks in the van for us whenever we wanted them. He got us everywhere really quickly so the journeys didnt feel long at all. He also picked us up close by all the stops to take us to the next activity. Amazing driver 10/10

Our tour guide Sharouk met us in Cairo and she was energetic, knowledgable and made the sightseeing experience even better. She made us all feel safe and was able to translate for us with the egyptian locals.

Overall, if your looking to visit the pyramids by car/bus we can’t recommend Ramashka tour enough. 10/10 day and amazing driver and tour guide!!

Although it’s an early wake up it was definitely worth it. bus driver and guide were so nice and entertaining and accommodated to us. It was hot but the guide made sure that there would be shady spots as well as he didn’t make us do anything that we didn’t want to do. cold drinks and water were also on hand from them during the whole tour. the food for lunch was also very yummy with an array of choices. the guides also really take advantage of every photo opportunity and are very willing to take a photo whenever you need. overall it was an amazing experience and something i didn’t think i was going to see. the museum, the pyramids and the sphinx were amazing to see and touch in real life. a big thankyou to the ramashka tour group you guys were amazing and have definitely made my trip.

The driver Ahmed made sure that we were the first to get past the mass of tourists everywhere. He looked after us and looked after us. We were able to see everything without having to wait and "Mama" showed us around really well. He was very passionate and knew a lot of interesting information and places. We were already at the hotel by 8:30 p.m., which was great after such a long day. Great experience!

We were everywhere the first ones to arrive thanks to our great driver, so we didnt had the stress with the mass of tourists. Tourguide was also very good and passionate, learned much about Egypt history, great experience.

Maybe the visit to the shops isnt necessary, but its ok. Hope the products are good quality.

Thanks for everything!

A very long day! 01:00 pickup from hotel and drop off at 21:00. Bus not comfortable. Cairo Museum OK. Lunch was good. Pyramids are colossal, but there really isn't much more to say about them.

Everything about this trip was the best! The driver, guide and sights were honestly the best I've encountered. The driver made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and made good time on the journey, meaning we were able to get back for dinner at the hotel. The guide was very informative and we loved the whole part of this tour!

We were picked up promptly at 2:00 a.m. From El Gouna, the pick-up cost €10 (in cash) per person, but this was communicated beforehand. The minibus was quite comfortable with TV and WiFi, but this didn't work in the desert (most of the journey). There were six of us in total.
When we arrived in Cairo at around 8:00 a.m., the guide got in. After that, a Nile cruise was offered (€10 per person). The trip took about 30-40 minutes). We didn't go on this and waited in the bus. Then we went to the museum. It was very interesting there. The guide took us to what he thought were the most important relics and told us a bit about them. Then we had 45 minutes to look at the museum on our own. With the number of relics, it was of course impossible to look at everything.
After the museum, we went to a papyrus shop (purely a tourist shop with corresponding prices). After that, we had lunch. It must be said that this was also a pure tourist restaurant, nothing special or authentically Egyptian. The drink prices were more expensive than in a 5 star hotel.
Afterwards we went to the pyramids and the Sphinx. A big compliment to our guide Mamdouh, who told us a lot, took photos and protected us from the many sellers and scammers. A camel ride or a ride in a carriage was also offered here (10€ per person + tip).
After the pyramids we went to a perfume shop (sales event) where you could buy supposed essences or oils (25€-85€) (in our opinion not real).
That was all and we went back at a very fast pace (160km/h). One note from us, the TV was on both the outward and return journeys (very loud), so it was difficult to rest. But that depends on the group, who wants to watch and who doesn't.

All in all, it was a tiring but very interesting day. The museum and the pyramids are of course a must, the sales events were unnecessary, but you can't avoid them in Egypt. Hence 4 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely fantastic trip! Ahmed got us there (in a clean, air conditioned minivan) before the museum opened so we did the boat tour first thing which was great.
The buffet lunch was good (pizza, pasta, chicken, salad etc) and we got there before the other tour groups so had first pick of the food.
Our tour guide (Mamdoah) was amazing, so knowledgable and made sure we weren’t being hassled by locals when we were at the pyramids.
The only negative point we had was that we found the perfume shop at the end a bit unnecessary and awkward (none of us wanted to buy any so we just sat in silence for about 10 minutes) after a long day when we just wanted to get back to our hotel at that point!
However, that said it was still a 5/5 trip which we would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Hurghada. We still got back to our hotel in time to make it to dinner which is a bonus!
Massive thank you to Ahmed and Mamdoah for making this such a lovely experience for us and keeping us topped up with drinks and snacks on the long journey!

Really great experience. Ended up only being 4 of us so felt very private and enjoyable. The mini bus is small, but loaded with snacks, free WiFi and Aircon. Ahmed is very welcoming and accommodating. As there weren't too many of us, I managed to stretch out over some spare seats and sleep for most of the journey to Cairo.

We arrived in Cairo at 8am and we're offered a Nile cruise at extra charge (600 EGP a person) which we decided to do to wake us up and give us chance to see the city. We then went to the Museum, saw lots of famous artifacts including the Boy King Tutankhamun's death mask. You cannot take photos of the mask - but it is nice to be able to take it in!

After the museum, we went to a traditional papyrus making place - where they show you how to make papyrus. There is no obligation to buy but they have lots of amazing artworks and you will get the chance to choose a cartouche and have your name handwritten in hieroglyphs. We paid 1500 EGP for 2 names - and you get a certificate of authenticity that it is proper papyrus.

We then went for lunch at a buffet - clean restaurant and nice food. Drinks are extra charge.

After was the Pyramids and the Sphinx - Mama will take the best photos of you at lots of different points!

If you want too, you can take a carriage ride or camel ride to a plateau to have your photo taken with all the pyramids (there are more than just the ones you see!). We decided not too and this was no issue.

Mama will tell you that it is hard to fit 7000 years of history into one day - he is right! It is completely mind-blowing and you will be in awe. He is very informative and kind - and he will stop the street vendors etc from hassling you. Him and Ahmed are a brilliant duo.

Afterward, we were all very warm and tired so we were taken to a traditional Oud/fragrance place. There we tried different scents but there was no obligation to buy.

On the way back, we had a punctured tyre but Ahmed got us safely to a garage and got it changed and we were back on the road again. He was very apologetic but these things happen!

We were back at our hotel by 8pm which was brilliant after a long day.

Highly recommend - can't beat it for the price!

5 stars to Ahmed and Mama! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
