After having the Asakusa history tour, enjoy a 2-minute train ride crossing the Sumida river to the Tokyo Skytree Station right at the foot of the Skytree. This convenient railway system connects the historical neighborhood of Asakusa with the Tokyo Skytree area - two major and popular sightseeing spots in the city.
Right after arriving at the Skytree, we will climb to both observation decks: first to the lower one with the height of 350m and then to the higher one with the height of 450m.
There are lots of fun things to experience there.
1) Your guide will help you locate major landmarks.
2) Stand on the glass floor which gives visitors a direct downward view of the streets below.
3) Have your memorial photo taken; you have an option to buy the photo with a download link.
4) Buy and send a pictured postcard from the SKYTREE to any place on the globe.
After getting down to the lower floor from the observation decks, you can stroll in the mega shopping complex to find souvenirs.

Considering the weather was very wet & cold .., it was an amazing walking tour , with a wonderful, informative & knowledgeable tour guide , Aki ..,, who spoke in English through a headset ..
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different site’s & understanding more of Japanese culture ..,
The Skytree Tower offered great views of Japan ( through the clouds) ..
We ‘ thank Aki’ 🙏🏻 😀 for making this a very memorable tour for us .., & recommend to anyone who is wanting to know more history around the Asakusa area .., 🌟

We booked our Asakusa & Skytree tour prior to our arrival to Tokyo, not knowing that it would be raining cats and dogs on that day. Nevertheless, thanks to our fantastic tour guide we had a great day exploring the Asakusa area and the skytree. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting information. The tour was held in English, which was spoken perfectly well by our guide. Thank you!

The guided tour was fantastic thanks to Yasu-san's explanations and lead on the journey.
- we were on time at the starting point but there was slight change on the location. I quickly chat with tripavdisor's operator and they could help deliver my message to Yasu-san that we are close and we will be there in 5 min
- Yasu-san introduce us to the azaming stories on each and every corner of the journey in perfect english and we could understand better about Senso-Ji temple as well as Japan's history of both the acient and the modern
- The view from the Skytree was beyond imagination expecially the clear sky and right timing of afternoon trip could make a perfect period of the jouney, marking a stunning sunset in our memory.
Thank you so much Yasu-san for the guide I really appriciate it (and sorry for the late booking 🙏)

Yasu did a great job helping us start Tokyo off right. He offered ideas and we tailored a walk about the temple and historic Asakusa before heading to the SkyTree. Once there he was able to help us get a reservatoin for lunch after our tour. Thanks so much!
