Monserrate Hill, located in the Candelaria district of Bogota, is a must-visit destination for tourists seeking stunning views and a glimpse into Colombian culture. At an elevation of 3,152 meters above sea level, the hill provides panoramic views of the city. The hill is home to a beautiful church that attracts thousands of religious pilgrims every year. Monserrate constitutes one of Bogota's most famous landmarks and represents a unique blend of nature, religion, and history—the perfect place to experience authentic Colombian culture at its finest.
There is no better complement than the route to the oldest and most colorful neighborhood called: La Candelaria. This place hides the most incredible stories, anecdotes and secrets of our ancestors and even our former rulers. You will know the main government buildings of the country and to where the city was founded.

My fiance and I spent 2 days in Bogota and worked with Bogota Pass for tours and transportation. This company was great to work with as we made the plans last minute. They were able to arrange transport and guides for us within 1 day of our arrival. The tour of downtown and Monserrate was incredible and Santiago (the guide) was extremely knowledgeable, spoke great English, and was a wonderful guide.
