After our ferry boat excursion was cancelled due to rough seas, we managed to book two last-minute seats in this 8-passenger tour — and we ended up being so glad that the boat cancelled!! This was a wonderful way to explore the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento to Positano to Amalfi. Our driver was extremely professional and a great driver as well. Stopped at a couple key overlook points along the way and gave us 1&1/2 hours in both Positano and Amalfi — which were interesting but frankly, nothing we would ever consider booking a stay in! The tourists — even in late April — were overwhelming. But the scenery along the Amalfi Coast is unparalleled and the 7 hour round trip was worth every minute and every $ spent! Highly recommend this small, intimate, excellent trip.

With Tempio Travel we did 3 different tours:

1. Amalfi Coast Tour
2. Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius
3. Capri Exclusive Boat Tour

The company is very efficient, well organized and the employees very friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

1. The Amalfi Coast Tour is basically transport to Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento with free time in each place. The places are otherwise very difficult to visit in one day unless you have a car, but driving in the area with the narrow winding roads is a nightmare, so the tour is a great option.

2. For the Pompeii tour we had an excellent guide, Maria, who was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some very interesting information and facts.

The visit to Mount Vesuvius is exciting and amazing, but one must be prepared for a rather tough climb by trek if he/she wants to reach the summit of the gran cono crater.

3. Antonio, Giuseppe and Luciano were not only very friendly and helpful but also very entertaining making our trip to Capri a great experience.

Good tour, with amazing views of the Amalfi Coast. However, the driver on the way home was clearly not properly trained. He drove too fast around the bends while it was raining and he lost control of the bus twice!! A truly terrifying experience on those narrow mountain roads.

We would highly recommend the last minute tour to Positano and Amalfi. We had a great guide and driver who stopped several times so that we could photos and provided a very informative dialogue while we were driving along the coast. The scenery is breathtaking. We would have liked to have done the boat tour but the weather wouldn’t allow but afterwards we felt we saw much more of the coast on the bus. This trip is really worth doing and very cost effective!

Was a great day out bought a ticket from the Train station in Sorrento. Guided bus tour stopping at multiple locations. The tour guide Flavia was super friendly and spoke multiple languages. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend the Amalfi Coast Last Minute tour. Booking was simple and the staff friendly. They offered a discount too since tourism is not as busy as usual due to Covid. The driver was excellent and Marco (the guide) was genuine, friendly, informative, funny and even asked the the driver to drop us off nearer our accommodation!

The coastline is one of the most impressive I have ever seen and you have plenty of time to walk the streets of Positano and Amalfi.

Great value for money.. thank you Marco!

JUNE 2019 E38 pp, not sure how much boat was extra but wasnt a lot really. We were staying in Sorrento and wanted to see as much as possible and had seen this company at the train station in Sorrento so picked up one of their brochures to read through to decide what we wanted to do and whether we could do them ourselves cheaper. We decided that we would do Pompeii ourselves and Herculaneum and vesuvius ourselves when in Ercalano after visiting herculaneum which we went by the train. We do wish we had done the audio guide tour for pompei which we could of got from this company either at sorrento or at pompei, but we didnt. We maybe should of done Capri through them as well but we did it by ourselves and we also did a boat tour around Capri when we were there which is all easy enough but might of been nice to have a guide to tell you things etc.
Anyway a must was the Amalfi coast tour, we really wanted to do this and although we understand there are local buses these are very crowded and so no guarantee of a seat. By doing the tour you are giving a tour guide to tell you things as you going along and they stop at places for you to be able to take photos and the driver if he could would just stop for a minute on the road for you to see a spectacular view, we went in early June so although the roads were busy, I suspect in the height of summer it is not always as easy to stop etc. The scenery is spectacular and you have time in Positano and Amalfi and there is the option while travelling to decide if you want to join the mini boat ride which you pay extra for as the tour guide rings ahead to the boat person and says how many there are and then the money goes direct to him from the tour guide. The boat ride is at Amalfi and you still have some free time if you do the boat ride in Amalfi but not as much. My advice would be to take a packed lunch and drinks with you and dont forget suncream and hat and maybe something to cover up as it can get breezy if you do the boat tour as well as obviously hot in the sun. Highly recommend this tour and this company. Everyone we had dealings with were very helpful and not pushy to sell you things. The driver and tour guide on our tour were fab and do remember to tip the driver at the very least because those roads are quite challenging in a bus! It is a full day tour and a lot were nodding off asleep including myself and my husband on the return journey and as it is basically the same route the tour guide does stop commentating which allows you to have a nap! We tried our best not to so as not to miss anything but like I say it is quite a full day of a beautiful coastline.

This was wonderful! Great tour for the money. They pick you up in Sorrento and whisk you away. Tour guide answered most questions. Stops were long enough and appropriate. Take added boat tour for a few dollars. Great value for all you get. Ate at Casae Bottega, which was one of best restaurants I went to while in Italy.

It was very easy to book the trip and everything was as advertised. Excellent driver who drove smoothly and safely. Our guide was good too. Our only complaint, which stopped us giving a higher rating, was the piped music on the return journey - it was some sort of strident pop music which was a ghastly assault on our ears. Others were muttering their disapproval but being brits were too polite to complain; I did and the volume was mercifully reduced. May I suggest to Tempio that if they do wish to play music they should try some gentle Italian mandolin music, or similar, to compliment the journey through the spectacular scenery.
