Miguel and Jaoa were great guides and very helpful in organising lunches/dinners. Their sense of humour was fun even when some of it was lost in translation. The accommodation was excellent particularly the Hotel Parador de Baiona which is in a beautifully renovated castle in Baiona and the exceptional Hotel Torre do Rio in Caldas dos Reis which was located overlooking a river. My recommendation is that if you haven’t prepared for 6 days of cycling hire an ebike.

This was such a highlight of our 3 1/2 weeks in Portugal. Can’t say enough good things about this ride! The views and the diversity of scenery were amazing. We did this with e-bikes as there is a lot of climbing in this trip. Sergio and his team were wonderful. We went to his shop beforehand to get fit for the bike and given all the details of the ride. The GPS route was extremely easy to follow and the accommodations were very good. The location of the accommodations were so unique and tucked into places with amazing views. It more than met my expectations! I’ve been on several self guided bike trips and this one ranks up there with the best! Don’t hesitate to book with Sergio.

We took a 6 hour tour, just 2 of us in a Sunday with Marta. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable and clearly loves her city. I didn’t love the port wine cellar tour that came with the bike tour. But rest was great—we learned a lot about the city and Marta gave us lots of recommendations on what to see and eat after.

We had a phenomenal day with Marta biking around the beautiful city of Porto with some of our best friends. The city is incredible and there is something about seeing it via bike that makes it seem closer - more do-able. Marta introduced us to a favourite Port house where we tasted some delightful wines that Porto is famous for. She reserved us a table with a beautiful view of the Ponte Luis for lunch and introduced us to Portuguese foods we immediately loved. She brought us to lovely viewpoints, taught us about Portuguese culture and history, and was an absolute delight to spend the day with. 10/10 would do it again!

We truly enjoyed our bike tour with drinks and food! Our tour guide, Marta, was fabulous! She knew so much about Porto, both past and present. She spent time getting to know us and made sure we saw/did everything we hoped to do on the bike tour. Porto is a beautiful city and exploring it on bicycles was adventurous and fun as well as a much quicker way to see more of the city and the beachfront. We can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed this tour and our guide Marta.
The bikes were probably the best we have ever been given on a city tour.
The supper restaurant which was a Tapas place was really good.
The port celler was a little pedantic and I would have just preferred to taste without going thru a long spiel and promotional video.
Riding in the Old Town is a little sketchy with the cobblestones, steep downhills and heavy traffic. The trip after supper were we rode to the Atlantic along mostly dedicated bike trails was really good however and we were able to come into Porto the back way, so had a gradual uphill instead of a steep climb.
We were really impressed with Marta’s concern for our safety throughout.
