Today was fantastic. Great captain and mate with lots of information in the area, adapted to the wants of the mixed group, very proficient at navigating the waters, boat traffic we felt ultra safe and he minimized the affects of the swell. We really found not have asked for more.

This was a great trip, the highlight of our holiday. We visited Amalfi and Positano and stopped for 2 swims, with masks provided by the crew. The boat was immaculate and the skipper and his crew were very friendly and provided us with drinks throughout the day and a sandwich for lunch. We made friends with the other people on the trip and had a great time. The trip ran later than expected as it took a while to drop off and pick up at Positano but the skipper didn't cut the rest of the day short, we visited the Emerald Grotto and the fresh water waterfall on our way back to Sorrento.

An amazing experience. One of the best ways to see the Amalfi coast. Had lots of time at both Amalfi and Positano. Tour was everything as advertised. The boat was new, Alessandro was a skilled captain and provided excellent commentary when the opportunity allowed. I didn't get the other girl's name that assisted with the tour, she was lovely and helpful. Has two opportunities to swim and stopped at the Smeraldo Grotto. The boat trip as a definite highlight of our trip.

Would not recommend this company. We did the Amalfi Coast Premium Tour on June 14th. It was such a sunny and beautiful day but this company did not deliver what was advertised. This company was so unorganized and I can say this because we took an all-day tour with a different company to Capri two days prior - vastly different experience! Our tour was advertised from 9am - 5pm. Email confirmation I received stated meeting point would be 9am at the Sorrento sea tours ticket office so we showed up at 8:45am. There were several others already there waiting. This company didn’t have tours walking off to their boat until 9:30. We were the last group to leave the ticket office (despite our entire group having been there since 9am) until 9:50. I don’t know what the delay was caused by - grabbing caprese sandwiches late or charter boats arriving to the dock late but it was beyond annoying since we waited over 1 hour. Advertised as maximum 12 passengers but we had 13 passengers. We were supposed to stop for a swim around Galli’s and Isca’s island before arriving in Positano but it never happened. May have been due to the 50 minute late departure. The skipper and our guide were fine but I did voice my concern once we arrived to Positano at 11:15am and he told us we’d have 1 hour of free time. I corrected him and said we get 2 hours of free time in Positano and Amalfi. Others chimed in and agreed. I was not going to have this company shortchange our time when they were 50 minutes late in departing Sorrento. The skipper had to call Sorrento Seatours to confirm this so this was a red flag telling me these guys don’t work for the company and were contracted. They concurred once they got off the phone and said we’d be given 2 hours. Pick up at Positano Marina was supposed to be at 1:15 but we didn’t get up until 1:40pm. Light lunch of caprese sandwich was supposed to be offered once we boarded after Positano and then a swim stop at Conca dei Marni visiting the famous Emerald Grotto but we didn’t experience any of that. We went straight to Amalfi from Positano. After Amalfi our trip was supposed to allow us to swim inside Fisherman’s Grotto followed by a fresh fruit salad. Again, none of that happened as advertised. The guide and skipper were great but I felt like they were contracted and don’t work for Sorrento Sea Tours. I would highly recommend MBS Blu Charters over Sorrento Sea Tours. They are organized, all their employees wear their company shirt so you have no confusion, everything runs on-time and per their advertised tours! You are given everything you pay for!

Remarkable experience to be out on the water for the day. Alessandro our captain was excellent. I'm sorry we didn't get the other person's name, but she was lovely. Had lots of time at both Amalfi and Positano, to explore. Had 2 opportunities to swim off of the boat. Stopped at the Smeraldo Grotto. Drinks, lunch sandwich and Limoncello were all provided. The boat was quite new, comfortable and we had the perfect tour size of 12. A definite highlight of our time on the Amalfi coast.

The positives: a beautiful sunny day on the sea in a boat with amazing coastline views.
The disappointing part: we spoke to the sales agent and booked 2 days in advance. We booked because we were promised a “traditional Sorrento style boat” but got put into an inflatable speed boat. We expected a leisurely boat ride to see the sights but were sped along at a distance and could barely snap a photo.
We were told there would be a 30 minute stop for swimming and snorkeling, and a place on board to keep a a bag and change clothes. They stopped for 10 minutes and there were cheap swimming masks to shared between the few who ventured into the water. we rushed to Amalfi where we had 2 hours to walk around. There was no time to change so touring around the town in a wet swimsuit. Not ideal.
We were told there would be lunch on the boat with caprese sandwiches and fresh fruit salad. Instead we were handed sandwiches as we left the boat in positano and had to find somewhere in the jam packed hot port to sit and eat.
The guides stopped at a few sights to give us some highlights but generally no information shared about the area or the coastline.

We had a great day out with our skipper Raffaele -- what a nice guy! He took us to all of the most important sites along the coast and explained the history and/or legends which were interesting! The weather was a mix of sunshine and then heavy downpour on the way back so you can imagine a super choppy sea (thank God for Dramamine) but he did a good job of navigating. It was so nice to meet new people and to explore some cities we hadn't had a chance to see: Amalfi & Positano. One hour is definitely too little time in the cities so if you want to spend more time, make sure you use another day to explore them. We finished with some homemade limoncello by his mother. Grazie!

Great and efficient day trip, a good way to visit Amalfi and Positano. We got a modern motorboat, the guys played modern music, and it was windy on board so take a nice jacket for the ride.
