Terrible customer service. Booked the jet skis and emailed them over concerns of weather forecast (it said 70% chances of rain) and they never wrote back to me.
It is a long way to go all the way to Rockaway beach without knowing whether you will be able to ride the jet skis or not and still they did not answer to any of my concerns.
Giving the weather forecast I did not go and requested a refund which they for once answered the e mail very fast stating all the reasons why they will not refund me. I wish they wouldv'e act as professional with my previous e mails.
Don't waste your time going all the way to Rockaway for a bad experience, book the ones in New Jersey just 20 minutes away from Manhattan. They have great jet skis, amazing staff and amazing customer service plus you ride in the Hudson River and not in the ocean

It was my first time doing Jetski in New York and Robert and his team at Rockaway Jetski rental were great. They treated my friends and I with Kindness and showed us a great experience riding Jet skis.
The owner spoke with us after ridding for an hr and recommended doing the city tour. I will be going back in the near future to do the city tour. The way he described it sounded like it would be a great experience.
