Jose and Luis are a couple who were born and raised in Mexico City, and have a shared passion for food, cooking and entertaining. Over the years, they have enjoyed sharing their table with family, friends and strangers, by nurturing them with their food and stories. In this experience, you will walk through the market with your hosts and stop at their favorite stalls to meet the vendors, learn more about their produce and buy ingredients for your cooking class thereafter. Then you will don your aprons and learn to cook garnachas, molcajete salsa and sopa conde. After you cook, share the meal you helped prepare.

We had the most amazing private dinner with Luis and Jose. They came to our Airbnb, cooked a delicious multi course meal. It was all phenomenal! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with them and found the experience absolutely singular! Absolutely recommend.

We really enjoyed the class with Mariana, visiting the local market and learning to cook 4 dishes in a beautiful setting. Mariana was very accommodating to my allergies and designed a menu around some dishes we were keen to try. Lovely to spent time with Mariana learning about food, cooking techniques and Mexican culture. Thank you!

Our family of five (three young adult daughters and parents) had such an enjoyable experience with Geraldine and Mariana! The market tour was relaxed and informative, and their home and neighborhood were beautiful, I wish we had arrived earlier to do some shopping because the stores and boutiques were very enticing! The class was mostly demonstrations but we received very clear and helpful ideas about how to make the dishes at home. We did participate in Sopa and tortillas making! The meal in the garden was easy and delicious. We talked about local topics, and their cookbooks and left with more insight about things to do and eat for the rest of our stay! Really fun and authentic experience - do not hesitate to book this class with these very accomplished and knowledgeable chefs!
