Outstanding excursion - the boat tour was by far the best part. We enjoyed the sights from the boat, the blue grotto and swimming around Capri. Boat crew were very friendly and accommodating, providing drinks, sandwiches and a great attitude. There were 9 people total on our boat, it was basically a private guided tour. Capri itself was extremely crowded and just getting around the island on land was challenging.

I’m so glad that we booked this tour! My husband and I ended up on a boat with only 4 other people, so it truly felt like a private tour. Since we didn’t have much time along the Amalfi Coast, this was the perfect way to visit Capri. On the day of our tour, the sea was a bit rough. My husband and I were fine, but one of our boat companions got sick, so I’d suggest taking anti-nausea medicine if you have a sensitive stomach. The rough waters also meant that we could not visit the Blue Grotto.
The cruise out to Capri took about an hour. Once near the island, our guide took us up close to the dramatic cliffs and the Faraglioni—truly amazing! We then had four hours to explore the island on our own. On our cruise back, we stopped in a quiet bay for a swim, where we enjoyed the cool Mediterranean water and sipped on prosecco.

We had an amazing time on our shared tour from Sorrento to Capri. There was a total of 8 people on our tour, it felt really private. The boat crew were great and accommodating. We were provided with lunch of delicious sandwiches and unlimited drinks (soda, water, beer) and Prosecco. The company helped us schedule a taxi pick from our hotel, which was really helpful. We had a really lovely day.

We spent 12 days in Italy, and my family agrees that this was the best part of the entire trip. Communication with mondo tours was clear and responses were quick. Meeting and transferring to the boat was easy. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit a visit to the blue grotto (I’ve been there four times and have never been able to visit!), but our guide and the pilot quickly pivoted. We were given delicious Caprese sandwiches, and they shared good advice for what to see on Capri. Afterwards we did a ride around the island with Prosecco, and we were given time to swim in the beautiful sea. It was a very special trip.

We had a fabulous day with your crew. Anthony was very hospitable. We were impressed with how well-planned it all was, we felt we saw a lot, and enjoyed the small details such as the sandwiches and drinks. Beautiful wood boat. We thought an excellent value doing the shared tour. We also enjoyed meeting two other families. Well done! We had a great time!

Don't hesitate to book this tour! This was one of the highlights of our trip! Captain Damiano was great! His boat was very comfortable and the small group made it feel more like a private tour. We got to see everything: the Blue Grotto (one of the first boats there, before the crowds came), Capri town, and Anacapri, as well as circling the full island on the boat. It was the perfect day!

Highly recommend this tour! We got to the Blue Grotto early. Short wait, but time on the boat waiting was fun. Tour guides were great, giving us incredible views all along and around Capri. They also gave us great tips on making the most of our time in Capri.

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Captain Damiano on our Capri excursion and would highly recommend it! The small group setting was ideal - there were only 8 people on our boat and 6 people on our partner boat. Each boat was equipped with a cooler of drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There were plenty of seats in the rear of the boat with a wonderful padded seating area along the front as well (and we didn't get wet sitting in the front!). Everyone had lots of space to relax privately or engage with others on the tour if they wanted to.
Captain Damiano was wonderful - we were so impressed with how well they navigated the sometimes busy waterways around Capri, especially in the Blue Grotto. They got us there nice and early to ensure we were one of the first boat groups to enter the grotto when it opened. Afterwards, we went on a lovely tour around the island - they shared good information about different rock formations and grottos without giving information overload. It was an excellent balance of sight seeing and private relaxation with a drink as we cruised around.
We had four hours on the island itself as well. It was just enough time for us to head to Anacapri, jump on the chairlift, grab a lemon granita, and shop around before getting back on the boat.

Our tour began with Mondo driver picking us up at our apartment and delivering us to the pier to meet our guide Andrea and the other tourers. We set off on the ferry to Capri where we met our boat captain for our water tour of the entire isle. Andrea is so knowledgeable and the captain maneuvered his boat for all the best views of the grotto's! After the boat tour, we went by bus to AnaCapri and Capri with time for lunch, shopping, strolling the Augusta Gardens. The tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish!

The Mondo Guide Boat Tour of Capri was a terrific experience. I paid a little more than taking the public ferry, but it was well worth it. The views of the island from the boat as we circled the island were incredible. Also, we were one of the first boats to the famous Blue Grotto. The staff were very professional as well. Highly recommend.
