The tour starts with a private ride by air-conditioned minivan and an English speaking driver from your cruise ship to Florence. The tour begins with a photo-stop at one of the most popular observation spots of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, and a drive past the Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, the finest Romanesque structure in Tuscany.
Upon arrival in Florence, the historic city is yours to explore! Choose to wander at your own pace, or you can upgrade your experience with either a walking tour or a scenic electric golf cart tour (both add-on options available at an additional cost).
After a break for lunch (not included), you will visit Pisa: the city is known for its bright monuments, which includes the 11th-century Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower. You will have free time to stroll around the city before leaving for Livorno.

Luigi was fantastic! He was a great driver and tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Francesca also gave us a walking tour and she was equally fantastic! We were a family of 7 adults and a 20 mo old baby. They were patient and playful with her. Highly recommend them.

Our cruise line had no options left to visit Florence and Pisa by the time we booked our cruise, so I went on the hunt for a private tour. When I found this tour on Viator we were excited because it was private and less expensive than the options the cruise line had provided. That left some concern, but the minute we were picked up all concerns were alleviated. The driver, vehicle, and tour guides were great and very professional. We had a great time and had a much more personal touch to our tour with it being only our small group of 6, rather than 50 on a bus. I highly recommend this tour.

Lorenzo our driver was exceptionally! He was very personable and gave some information about the surrounding area on our drive to Pisa and Florence. If you book this tour ask for Lorenzo as your driver! The walking tour for Florence was a bit rushed.

Booked this tour and paid in advance. Asked for a 730am pick up time. Tour operator told us they would try to arrive by 745am. We needed 3 vans for our family. Only 1 can was there at 745. The others didn’t arrive until 815. We went to Pisa but the place was starting to get crowded but the time all three cans arrived the place was packed. We were then taken to Florence where we met a guide. During our tour of Florence, the guide keep saying “if you guys weren’t late I would be able to show you more”. Disappointed we were treated poorly even though we weren’t the reason we were late.

The tour guide was very accommodating. The car provided was superb and comfortable. The quality of the guides was exceptional.
And the price is approximately the same as what the cruise ship was charging for a far more exclusive tour.

The locations were obviously the most memorable however our guide was not organized or prepared so the tour jumped around to such a degree that we did not get to see the inside of the cathedral.

We had a wonderful day visiting Pisa and Florence. Our driver Francesco was on time, easy to find right when we got off the ship and very friendly. He organized a great lunch for our group of 8 at a wonderful restaurant. Our city tour guide, Maria Cristina, was very friendly and informative. We did everything we had hoped for with two young kids! Highly recommend this tour for an overview of these two spots!

We were on an NCL cruise with friends. We booked the majority of our tours with Viator. This one was not the same level as the others. Our driver, Simone, spoke very little and really only provided information when asked. He drove fine, carefully, but also seemed like it was the first time he was driving a large van as he had issues maneuvering it in a few instances. We arrived and departed Pisa on schedule, then headed to Florence. Again, we arrived in the city at the expected time. We were supposed to meet our tour guide, Marco, in the center of the city. However, Simone became lost and couldn't get us to the meeting point. In lieu, Simone found a historic site on the edge of the city and called Marco to meet us there - an hour later than planned. Our tour through Florence was two-hours. Marco showed us what he could in the time provided. Again, with our meeting point on the edge of city walking in and out was about 40 to 50 minutes of our tour time. I'm sure this tour could be well worthwhile but ours didn't work out that way.

We had a Wonderful guide who loved his city of Florence. So much beauty and history! Enjoyed a lunch after our tour of a downtown restaurant. Some Christmas decorations were being put up. Just a great atmosphere!
