I have seen many Roman ruins throughout the world but this was exceptional due to the nature of the volcanic eruption the detail of the city was incredible and you could actually see how the city looked so many years ago. Our guide was informative and entertaining.

Great tour! Tour guide was very knowledgeable. We hit a lot of traffic on the way back to Sorrento but the bus driver did a great job at navigating it.

This was a great way to see pompeii. The tour began by coach in sorrento, so there was no stress of navigating public transport. The guide ‘mimi’ on the coach was very friendly and gave some interesting information during the drive to pompeii, with often an amusing twist. We were taken around Pompeii by an extremely knowledgeable guide who tried to avoid the crowds and gave an excellent overview of the site. The tour lasted around 2.5 hours which was enough for us but you could spend a lot longer. It’s quite tiring to walk around so being dropped back by coach was certainly welcome afterwards.

Great tour! Our guide called max was brilliant! And easy pick up drop off etc! Would recommend. Not much shade so definitely take a hat!

This was a great tour. Even on a scorching hot day, our tour guide kept us engaged. We learned a lot and we appreciated the offer of a half-day tour when we were trying to cram so much into our trip overall. It was wonderful to not have to worry about transportation either!

Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The history is amazing. Things ran on time. As for Pompei itself, it is a gift that needs to be enjoyed by all who can get here. Will definitely recommend to others.

We had 2 wonderful and knowledgeable tour guides (Max and Luisa). The bus was comfortable. The tour was interesting and we also got to learn about all the towns between Sorrento and Pompeii. I definitely recommend this half day trip.

We recently took a tour of Pompeii with Max as our guide, and it was awesome! Max really knows his stuff and made the history of the city super interesting. Plus, he's hilarious, which made the whole experience even more fun. He had us all laughing while we learned about the ancient ruins. If you're heading to Pompeii, definitely try to get Max as your guide – you’ll have a great time!
