On our Secret Food Tour in Seoul with tour guide Alex, enjoyed a variety of traditional Korean foods in small market stalls. Alex, who spoke excellent English, did a great job of taking us to places frequented only by locals. With Alex’s guidance, we packed a lot into the 3- hour tour and experienced a wide range of very interesting food types. Great way to get an introduction to Korean traditional cooking.

We had a great experience with tour guide Alex, who was very knowledgeable and considerate. An easy way to try the most famous street foods available in Seoul. Nothing felt rushed! I especially liked getting to visit a hanok tea house.

Really knowledgeable local guide who took us to some great spots in markets that would otherwise be pretty overwhelming to navigate. I think there could stand to be more stops on the tour for the amount of money paid, especially since the drink tastings were an additional USD 11 or so, but it was a lot of fun.

The tour of Gwangjang market was amazing with different types of food that we tried. Our guide Taeseong was amazing and provided us with so much information. I really loved trying different foods from street stalls and then going to specific shops that specializes in certain foods. At the end, we went to a traditional korean tea experience which was great with traditional sweets.

Chris was fantastic as our personal tour guide for the morning. We didn’t book a private tour but it was just us and Chris. It was so nice to have someone else to walk the market with and show us around and explain everything to us. We tried some amazing food that we likely wouldn’t have found otherwise and we got to just chat with Chris throughout and ask questions. We did this very early in our visit to Seoul which I recommend because he gave us more recommendations for things to try and places to go. He even stopped and helped us find his favorite ramen so we could take it home with us. Our tour was at 10:30 in the morning and we were unable to eat for the rest of the day as we ate so much delicious food and treats on the tour. Highly recommend.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable and helpful . Not only was he a extremely knowledgeable on the food part of the tour. We learned a lot about daily Korean life and history throughout the day. We felt like we were traveling with a friend . He made the experience extremely rewarding and memorable . The tour was 6 starts , beyond our expectations.

Chris was an excellent guide! The food that he picked for this tour was truly authentic and tasty. We are used to Korean food are not easily impressed but the food we tried with him was very good! the organizational aspect was also great. the restaurants that we visited had everything ready and hot for us to try. Chris explained ingredients and method of cooking. Sometimes he added historical facts about some dishes. We really enjoyed this tour! We traveled with 5 friends and all of us were very satisfied with the experience. Chris gave us recommendations for some local restaurants, and we tried one of those for dinner. The food was excellent, the service superb. i would strongly recommend this tour with Chris to others.

I booked this as a solo traveler, looking to try some traditional Korean dishes. This tour exceeded my expectations! We tried many delicious (and interesting!) dishes. Our guide, Chris, was incredibly informative and friendly - sharing history about the dishes we ate, the chefs who cooked them, the sights we saw. The food and experiences were well worth the cost!
