We did the private tour to be able to experience Nashville and not have to fight to hear our tour guide. This was the way to go!! Courtney was our tour guide. She was energetic but kept to our pace. She was full of knowledge about the area, about all the food tastings and offered us plenty more to do while we were in town. The food was fabulous. Starting with donuts, then pulled pork sandwich, crust burger, hot chicken and then the secret dish. Not going to spoil the secret but it was our favorite. Make sure you come with an appetite. Even though the portions are small it’s a lot of food. This makes us want to try more food tours. Was worth every penny.

Awesome food tour. We do these type of tours all over the world and this one ranked at the top. Joshua was our guide and he definitely lived up to his reputation, one of the best in Nashville. Would and probably will do this tour again. Plenty of food too, you won’t leave hungry.

We traveled with family and friends, including younger kids and it was really fun! The East Nashville tour gives a chance to see a different Nashville neighborhood than typical tourist downtown/Broadway. You may want a strolled for younger kids but it isn't a hard walk for the elementary school age. There is a lot of food, representative of a lot of great Nashville classics; tour price is kind of high, especially for kids who may not eat all the food, but the guide was great about getting us to go boxes/bags as needed! Courtney knows the city well and is fun and informative and kept us moving without be overbearing. All the kids said this was one of their favorite parts of our trip!

This was an amazing way to see and taste a bit of Nashville.

If you decide to do this tour you must request Colleen. She was the best! You will not be disappointed. My group and I had the best time on this tour and the food was fantastic.

Joshua was very helpful as our tour guide helping me keep our party of 7 international visitors entertained. The food experiences were alot of fun. Each stop had yummy offerings. Joshua even got me to try the catfish taco at Edley’s! Banana pudding was the best ever! Nashville hot chicken is yummy and….HOT. The walking aspect if the tour was helpful to burn off calories from the vast amount of food consumed.

Food tours are one of our favorite things to do in a new city. You get a good sample of the local cuisine, and you can learn a little bit about the area depending on the tour guide.

The first stop on the tour was memphis barbecue on a potato roll, it was good. The second stop was my personal favorite. We got homemade biscuits that consisted of 5 ingredients. They were amazing. The tour guide had us take a bite of the biscuit by itself before adding any butter or jelly. The third stop was for a burger, that was okay. The final stop was for some Nashville hot chicken. I absolutely love Nashville hot chicken, but the presentation was a little different on this. It was in a tortilla with corn, lettuce, and tomato. It was closer to a taco. Lastly, we got some banana pudding for dessert, that was excellent.

East Nashville itself is an area that is undergoing a lot of change. It has quite a few bars, restaurants, and shopping. We spent a couple of hours after the food tour walking around. Overall, it's a great way to spend an afternoon.
